FAQ

I need to find out hw cement is manufactured on a large scale, and if the answers could be concise and short, and not too complicated that would be great. i dont need you to go into a lot of detail, just outline how it's done.Thank you!
There are different types of cement but... Portland cement is made by heating limestone with small quantities of other materials (such as clay) to 1450°C in a kiln. The resulting hard substance, called 'clinker', is then ground with a small amount of gypsum into a powder to make 'Ordinary Portland Cement', the most commonly used type of cement (often referred to as OPC). Always the same process just in large volume.
Make the yard with cement is cheaper or brick is cheaper? thanks!?
Cement is cheaper, by far. And you can color it and stamp textured to make it look like brick.
dimension of a standard cement bag?
Standard cement bags come in 60lb. and 90lb. bags. If you are trying to figure out how much you'll need for a project you gotta do some figurin'. I guess thats what your asking. Here's a tip: When you got it figured out, you'll probably need about 20% more. Don't know why, Murphy's law I guess. It's easyer to return what you don't use than to run to the store and mix up some more. Anyway's look at the bag and it will tell you the volume. get your dementions you need and bring a calculator and pencil to the store, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
Eucalyptus leaves were left on the front porch. It rained. Evidently, they are treated with some type of coloring agent and it dripped from the leaves to the porch cement leaving a bluish stain. The tint washed right off my hands, but not so with the cement which absorbed it like an easter egg.I've tried soap and water -- no good.Krud Kleaner with a wire brush -- faded it a little.OxyClean with a toothbrush -- faded it a little more. But, the stain is still there and very visible. Is there anything that will get it out? Bleach, maybe...vinegar ???Help! Thanks.
Concrete is porous, so the stain has gotten into the concrete. The first thing I would do is pressure wash the stain. This will probably remove 90% of the stain. If you have any stain left after that, treat with bleach, covering the bleached concrete with a plastic bag and weights to help delay evaporation, followed by a final pressure wash.
Is Pozzolan cement inferior to Portland cement? Please explain.?
Portland cement evolved from pozzolan cement, so most likely, yes.
i have been having problems with my mouth ever since i went to this dentist he is using a glue or something that gives me a sore throat only on the side that the glue is on i thought i was losing my mind but i just have a feeling it isn't working with my body i also have heart burn all the time
Modern dentists usually use methal arcylate cement. Allergies to arcylates are extremely rare, but rare does not mean non-existent. So it is possible that you are indeed allergic to the cement. An allergist physician can probably test you to see if that is your problem. In the old days, before arcyclates, dentists sometimes used zinc phosphate as a cement. You might talk to your dentist to see if he can get that to use on you. (It might help if your dentist is older. I suspect many recent graduates have never even heard of alternatives to arcylate cement.) If that doesn't work, check in your area to see if there are any dentists who hold out as being natural, homeopathic, or similar terms. They may offer alternative treatments and alternative cementing compounds.
i am looking for a cement supplier to ship cement to my country .truly speaking all factory i contact are sold out .the question is from whom can i buy the cement??There is many website with fake seller supplier , i need a real people who have the cement to sell. can anyone help???
Have you thought about making your own? the procedure is fairly simple and the binder is not expensive. You can find the procedures for making concrete on the Internet for all sorts of strengths from mortar to 10k compression crete. Depending upon how much you need this may not be viable. The weight of concrete is such that it makes shipping to other countries highly unprofitable or vastly expensive.
what is the difference between (concrete) and (cement)?
concrete-A strong hard building?material composed of sand and gravel and cement and water cement-A building?material that is a powder made of a mixture of calcined limestone and clay; used with water and sand or gravel to make concrete and mortar ergo, you can't create concrete without cement, but sometimes concrete pavement can be refered as cement.
