3) What is the difference of Wilton Carpet and Axminster carpet
Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.

- Rugs, like lumber are dimensional. They can run in sizes from 7 foot 6 inches to 8foot on one side to 11 ft 6 inches on the long side. They are not always a true 8 foot by 12 foot. - Q: To avoid telling you the story of my life, the carpet has ended up being a rainbow of stains, from dog urine, to juice stains, the works. It has so many different stains that are already dried out that it's crazy. I tried to clean them, but it was already too late (I wasn't here for the actual accidents). We hate it! - Hmmm. Not a seamstress, nor do I care to be, but I have one that I enjoy, and has lasted for 3 years, but it was machine made, and as a Rag Rug, was stitched, not knotted. Actually a pretty decent project though, for using scrap fabric, much like a braided oval/round rug. Perhaps you might find in a fabric retailer, a Mesh type, stiff material/substance, similar to that used in small yarn craft kits, but in a larger size? Just my two sense
- Q: If I removed the rug the color will age and change darker but will the floor where the rug was blend with the outer Perimeter?
- The wood will darken when it is exposed to light. In time it will blend in with the rest of the floor.
