Q:can i pop them in the dryer briefly? or would they burn the rugs have a rubber bottom . thanks also wat cycle should i useDOnt be rude
Yes you can but on gentle and pop only the rugs in the dryer on low heat to get the dampness out. Oh yeah and your shower curtain..depends on if it's the liner or the curtain. If its the liner buy a new one if its really bad cuz they are a pain in the but to clean. If it's the actual curtain sure go ahead and wash it as long as your rugs and your curtain are the same color wash them together gentle and on cold. -air dry your curtain tho,as there is plastic at the top, and would melt in dryer if dried.
Q:I have hard wood floor throughout my home and I would like to buy a large area rug for my son (six months) to play on. What type of shag rug would be the best? I need something really soft and fluffy!
I okorder / I hope I hear from you soon!
Q:We want to store it under our house, but it can get dusty and being in Australia we deal wih extreme's in temperature, really hot to qutie cool. How do we prevent mould spiders gettting in there?
Hi I'd roll it up good and tight, tie it a few places so it stays really tightly rolled and then cover the ENTIRE thing in plastic --maybe 2 really large plastic bags from a mattress store or a moving store--even a rug store. OR a few tarps--tie it up again too. Once it's super duper tied up and plasticated (my word) --then you can leave it outside.
Q:like to put on carpet and vacuum up.
pretty sure they or a dollar store does though
Q:So I spilled red juice on my carpet last night and thought it would be a good idea to clean it up using bleach and clear soda. Needless to say the bleach kind of messed up the carpet. Is there any way to pull out any of the bleach or to make the stain a little less noticeable? PLEASE HELP!! I really don't want to loose the security deposit....
As a pro carpet cleaner, I work with a lot of land lords and property management company's, what you describe is a common problem with uninformed tenants. We call in a carpet laying specialist to remove the bleach damaged piece of carpet and fill in the now vacant spot with a piece of carpet removed from a closet. A new piece of similar carpet from a remnant is then placed in the closet. This method is far less expensive then replacing the entire carpet. It does take a pro to do this to make the repaired carpet less conspicuous. You can locate a carpet laying pro by contacting any store that sells carpeting. Remember to keep bleach and laundry detergent in the laundry room from now on. Trying to clean a spot on a carpet, if Nylon, with a laundry detergent, will also damage the carpet dyes. Good Luck.
Q:What is the function of the far infrared function of the electric carpet and floor blanket?
Far infrared function the main role is the role of physical health!
Q:Have you or anyone you know had any allergy problems after getting new carpet? see a Dr and get some meds or go to the store and get some OTC meds..
Q:The pad is worn out under the carpet in traffic areas, but the carpet is fine.
I don't see why not, if your carpeting is still good. Why waste good carpeting if you don't have to. I say go for it. I would have the carpet cleaned before you replace the pad then it will be nice and fresh when you have the new pad put under it.
Q:i have just bought a thoroughbred who has a very fine coat despite the fact it is winter, he lived out at his previous home but with 2 rugs on. i want to continue having him living out but with so many rugs out there and not having to rug previous horses i am a bit confused! do you have any brands you recomend? how many rugs do you think he will need?i live in england so it can get a bit cold in the winter, i want to rug him because i would rather he keep his nice thin coat and also he is sued to being rugged and what with moving home and meeting all the new horses, not having a rug on might be a bit of a shock to the system!
I would definitely say that Weatherbeeta are the best brand for affordable but comfortable and hard wearing rugs. I've had my weatherbeeta rugs for two years and only had them washed, not reproofed even though one of my horses is a rug wrecker. I have a TB myself and I know how much of a pain it is to rug them! They are very prone to chills and don't really grow an incredibly fluffy coat. Here in scotland its already reached only 4 degrees at night and my hands are frozen, and plus the wind chill makes it a very cold night. My boys are both in mediumweights without necks at the moment at night and lightweights during the day. However this is also because they are getting clipped next week and I want to prepare them for that and not let them get too soft beforehand! For my TB I have this wardrobe - 1 x Lightweight (Mark Todd brand - very good durable, I would say the best out there) 2 x Mediumweight with and without a neck (both Weatherbeeta) 2 x Heavyweight with and without a neck (Mark Todd and Rambo - very good but very expensive brand) The two of the mediumweight / heavyweights mean that in the midst of winter when it gets absolutely FREEZING I can double rug, putting a mediumweight over a heavyweight or vice versa. I also have stable rugs but that depends on whether you are stabling them or not.
Q:how do i get rid of a carpet burn please help
Hi small burns are fairly easy to fix. Tools you will need needle nose pliers, white glue, two-inch nail or tooth pick. First with the pliers grab the burnt fibre and pull them out (when this is done you should see the backing of the carpet) Now from the a 1 foot area around the burn pull out fibres one at a time, but not beside each other (you should not notices them missing) this is to get the same colour and wear pattern. Dip the end of fibre into the white glue and push the fibre with the nail into the backing of the carpet repeat this for each fibre until the burn spot is fill with new fibre. When the glue is dry you can trim the fibres to match. From a carpet cleaner for 14 years
