Q:How can you get rid of the oil on the carpet? Jipan high master!
Suggest you: first wipe the dirt with alcohol, see if you can erase, if not, use vinegar, and if not yet, then please go to the 4S shop.
Q:What would cause a small rug in my basement to become saturated with water while the rest of the floor is dry?
Chris, Look directly above where that rug is or was (overhead) Do you see any kind of a slow leak or evidence of a leak anywhere around there overhead that is dripping down onto the floor? That would be my guess. Good luck
Q:how do I frame a large rug?
Look okorder.com/
Q:Where can I find discontinued carpet?
Discontinued Carpet
Q:can I wash laura Ashley rug in machine?
Laura Ashley Rug
Q:Is it good to dry your bathroom rugs?
Either way. Whichever way you prefer.
Q:How much does a prayer rug cost?
hard question to answer... I am a muslim residing in SaudiArabia.. prayer rugs vary in price from about 10riyals up to hundreds of riyals.. depends on the quality.. you can find vary cheap ones that get the job done that you can find at any 5 and 10 store... or if you go to the oriental market places you can find really nice iranian/persian hand made ones in hundreds of riyals... so.. average price.. a decent one I would pay about 100dollars for a good quality not so expensive one...
Q:Bleach in my carpet!?
Sorry the damage is done, you can cover it with throw rugs or do a carpet puzzle piece. By that I mean cut a piece of carpet from a closet, cut the stain out(same size and shape). Piece in the new piece. Be sure you have carpet tape and an iron. If your afraid to try this yourself a carpet company will do it for you. Won't even know anything has happened.
Q:I have an old persian rug?
What are commonly known as persian rugs are actually made in wide ranging locales in eastern Europe, Asia, and the Indian subcontinent. You might do a Yahoo search for persian rugs and get lucky enough to identify the pattern of your rug, but it will take the eye of an expert to give you definitive information. Best bet is to take your rug to a reputable rug dealer in your area. They will be able to identify the rug, determine age and origin, assess condition, recommend cleaning and preservation, and assess its' value. Good luck with your search for information.
Q:Help! Bathroom rugs yellowed my floor! The rugs have latex back which left yellow stains on my white floor.?
Yep, the backing on the rugs gives off gasses as they oxidize. They are most likely gasses from plastic (hydrocarbon) or PVC (chlorides). It is possible that the discoloration to your floor is permanent. You can try putting some lemon juice on a small area and leave it there to dry. If you see a return to the original color, treat the rest. The other thing is a household ammonia test. Same thing (but open the windows and keep your head away from the product). Since you will now be testing acids and alkalies to see if you can reverse the problem, the only other thing to test is a solvent like white spirits. Do this one last. The rugs will continue to degrade but less than when new. You are right that there should be a warning on these rugs to not place them on certain surfaces but you know manufacturers, put it out to sell and then deny any liability.
