Q: ok so i'm entering a competition to win a horse rug and am not sure how the sizing works. as a rough guide only, i need to know what size rug goes on what size horse (e.g. 15hh horse needs size _' _quot;). thanks :): he will need about a 56 or possible 59 depending on the make of the rug. best way is measure from centre of horses chest right round to point of buttock.

Q: My mom has had a Karastan rug for 30 years now and it's in gorgeous condition and it has never once shed. It's also wool. I need to purchase one, but I don't like the old fashion designs on the Karastan rugs...does anyone know what other brand rug is equal to a Karastan rug that doesn't shed? You can rent a carpet cleaner at your local supermarket but you're looking at about 50 bucks and it's back breaking work. Or for about 150 you can get a professional steam cleaner to come out with no effort on your part other than paying. Remember, there is no substitute for elbow grease.

Some places will rent a cleaner for like $40 a day. We have a hoover carpet cleaner I think we spent about $100 on it and it was Soo worth the money! if you take your time when shampooing the carpet it will make a huge difference! especially if you have pets or kids!
