- The best way that I have heard it described, and I agree is that it feels like having a really bad sunburn and someone scratches it. I mean it definitly is uncomfortable. - Hi First thing if it is still wet dab area with towels to absorb as much as possible. If the urine stain is brown then it is a sticky residue problem. I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pouring water on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time, to remove the sticky residue. If the stain comes back in a few days you may have to do this a few times. If the stain is still visible than use a little carpet spotter on it. If it has gone yellow then it is a PH problem. You can try using vinegar (one part vinegar to five parts water) to see if you can remove the stain. You can also try “Nature's Miracle” this is a liquid containing enzymes that feed on the organisms that give urine its odours. Sometime urine stains cannot be removed. The main reason for stain to resurface is the soap that you leave behind. The most important thing to do is rinse the stain with a wet vac and water to remove all the reside. - I've used them on my patio, but have experienced some problems particularly if they are rubber backed. Moisture gets between the backing and the fiber to cause little black spots on the rug which are mildew. If it rains and the rug stays hortizontal for any length of time, it will mold as well. The good news is that both can be removed with DampRid Mold and Mildew Remover (the one for fabrics) and it protects the rug from it happening again with little moisture exposure (not drenching, pouring soaking rain). If I'd have known about this product, I would have sprayed it on first before putting it outside and just picked it up when we have a heavy rain to keep it from molding.

- Going to go with throw rug as you don't say if you already have wall to wall carpeting. Blank and while would bring some zing into your room. It's up to you of course as to what pattern you would pick. Decide if you would like fringe or plain edging. Fringe is nice, but can get to be a little demanding as keeping it lined up. As to what kind, again that's your choice. Plush or other wise sounds good to me. Sounds like a lot of black and that's OK. A couple pillows on the bed (accessories) in gray or even red or both. Maybe some gray and/or red other accessories to add a little more bam to the decor. Much happiness ..... sounds coo!
