- Q:y does my electric yellow always dig massive holes? i recently switched to a planted tank with fine graval and now he diges holes and its very annoying. is there any way to get him to stop and maby take his mind off of it. its amazing how much rock he can move overnight. hes like a excavator lol.
- Like other have stated the digging is do to spawning. To get them to stop you need to use larger gravel. If you want them to spawn it is best to use arganite or sand instead. But to get them to stop you need to use pea gravel wish is about 3/8 - 1/2 inch in size. You can have a planted tank but you need plants with well established root systems. PK
- Q:1: Which of the following is the number of grams in 5.8 kilograms?2: How do you find the volume and surface area of a triangular prism?3: The city of Rubberville plans to dig a rectangular landfill. The landfill will have a base with dimensions 700 ft by 200 ft and a depth of 85 ft. a. How many cubic feet of garbage will the landfill hold?b. What information would you need to determine how long the landfill can be used until it is full? (Don't really need to answer...this is easy.)c. An excavator was hired to dig the hole for the landfill. How many cubic yards of dirt will he have to haul away?
- 1) To convert Kilograms to Grams, simply multiply by 1000. Google the rest.
- Q:It's in a mobile home park and everything is on one meter. We can't hear anything or see any water yet the water meter is running rapidly. I need to get this repaired right away. I've called several excavators in town but they are backed up. How can I isolate or what ever I need to do to find this leak?
- There are people that are specailists in this. They use listening equipment or ground sonar to find the leak. I had a slab leak and had to hire one, it cost about 250.00 I'm in california.
- Q:it's currently -30 degrees out, brother in-laws who owns the machine is out of town and cannot find the plug to prewarm the engine,
- On the 312c it has a 3064T cat engine that doesn't use a block heater. It uses a circulation heater which is usually installed either on a heater hose, or on the lower radiator hose. Check the hoses to see if there is a cylinder or a box with a plug on it. If it doesn't have one, they are available at most equipment or automotive stores. You would have to know the inside diameter of the hose when you go to purchase a lower rad hose model. If it's going in a heater hose, they are a standard 5/8. Hope this helps you. Keep warm! Rob
- Q:More detail: My husband also told me last October that he is tired of his job of 25 years. He works for his parents and they would be devistated if he left so he stays. He makes a good salary, benefits and has it good. He turned 40 in July 2007. He bought a motorcycle after he had told me about his confusion toward his job, his life and me. 3 weeks ago he told me he has been falling out of love with me for about 3 years which again was a total shock! He was intimate to me up until this point. I would have never guessed. We were always so passsionate when we made love he just couldn't have been faking it!!! He works 5 1/2 days weekly as an excavator, he's been in the fire company for 25 years, he is a Boy Scout leader. My son is in Scouts. I know he is very busy and I never nag him or get mad at him for not being around much. I was content as long as he was intimate with me but now I feel like I'm just here for the chores etc. I love him with all my heart. Help?
- Probably okorder I love that homepage.Give it a try ;) good luck!
- Q:I was just curious how this would be done. I mean some people have ponds that are 4 acres or more on their property and I was wondering how that is achieved. I mean it's not like they dig a hole in an afternoon, grab their garden hose and let it fill up. Also how much would such a thing cost?
- It depends on where you live. In Nevada for example putting in a large pond is quite the undertaking with an extensive permitting process. You have to have water right and be permitted to store water in a pond. You have to meet certain criteria if the pond holds a large volume of water and have dam safety inspections and permitting through the environmental protection agency. Once you are legally allowed to create a pond, then it is large excavation and may need lining and corrosion control along the banks. Normally large ponds have surface water inlets like ditches, creeks, etc, and would not be filled with a hose.
- Q:I want to get a water well pump in my yard but I have no Idea how to go about getting one, I would like to hire someone to do it but who does that kind of work? Who should I call and how much would it cost?
- Looking in the yellow pages for Water well drilling and services will get you started. Getting quotes from different ones will tell you how much it will cost drilling a water well in your area. They charge by the foot. In this area it can cost as much as $10,000. It will cost you several thousand.
- Q:What do excavators do?
- Mainly used in the construction process of excavation tasks, such as digging the ground, digging the basement, leveling the road, or in the mining industry, such as mining iron ore
- Q:A portion of an ancient skeleton has been uncovered in Asia. Since the skull is missing, the discoverers can not determine whether the skeleton is from a human or some type of ape. The only portions that the excavators have been able to find are the pelvis and one complete leg. What should they look for?
- I am very curious about the answer to this
- Q:I am having a conversation over e-mail with a guy who says that Piltdown Man was being taught at the college level in the 1970's despite having been debunked 20 years earlier as a fraud. Is this true? Is there a good reason for it if it is? Can some one find me evidence of this?
- No. It was under suspicion for a long time, even before it was debunked in 1953. By the 70s it was old news.
