what are the faults that occur in a vacuum cleaner how to rectify them ? esp. when its not getting start .i think it contains a dc motor (but of what type i dont know).thanks in advance
given your level of knowledge about vacuum cleaners my best advice would be throw away the broken one and buy a new one. But let's say you decided not to take that advice. Then take the broken machine to a professional repairman. Let's say you didn't want to do that either. First let me warn you again that one of the first two solutions are your best bet. So you can't afford a new vacuum cleaner or to pay someone else to fix it. Ok. Unplug it from the wall. Check the plug and power chord carefully. Look for anything broken or bent. Replace any broken, bent or worn parts. By the way, make sure the outlet is functional. Take something you know is working and plug into the same outlet. If the working item does not work in that particular outlet then the outlet is broken. If the forgoing did not fix the machine then you really, really need to go with the first or second suggestion. If you can't then you have to open up the machine and see if you can find out anything wrong with the innards. Before doing that, check the vacuum hose, intake and filter. Make sure that none of these is clogged or broken. Replace any broken parts and clear any clogs. If you have to open up the machine then we are out of my depth. Yes I could tell you that after you make very, very, VERY, certain that the damn thing is not plugged into the wall, use a volt ohm meter to check the continuity of the wires and replace any broken ones. But if you don't know what a volt ohm meter is, you need to give this project up before hurt yourself.

A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner. quot;Good morning, said the young man. quot;If I could take a couple of minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners.quot;quot;Go away!said the old lady. quot;I haven't got any money!quot;, quot;I'mbroke!and she proceeded to close the door. Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the doorand pushed it wide open. quot;Don't be too hasty!he said. quot; Not until you have at least seen my demonstration. And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure on to her hallway carpet. quot;If this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder. The old lady stepped back and said, quot;Well I hope you've got adamned good appetite, because they cut off my electricity thismorning. What part of broke do you not understand?

How interesting. It seems as you are posing as some sort of invisible user. Well, you made one mistake it seems. The picture does not blend into the backround. I DEMAND that you change your profile picture immediantly if you would like to stay as the invisible user. Have a nice day.
Had a Bissell which was about $50, well it didn't last , and saw reviews on Eurekas, which were pretty good. Which do you use and where did you purchase your's for a good price? Not looking for expensive models, just something under $60.
Go to the thrift stores and garage sales. Then inspect them well before you buy. That is the only way to get a good one for that price. Dyson is about the best for under $500.
HOLA! i have one of those kirby vacuum cleaners. Unfortunately i'm out of filter bags or vacuum cleaner bags. I don't want to buy online so can someone tell me where i can buy them. Like walmart or sumthin. They have to be kirby bags, nto just any old vacuum cleaner bag. THANKS
I have had a Kirby for twenty years and the only time I had a belt break was when something got wrapped around the brush and stopped it and when the bearings at the end of the brush seized. The bearings seized because of hair getting past the end caps and jamming them. I fixed it by removing the brush from the housing, pulling the end caps off and removing the hair. This took sometime as there's not much room between the roller and bearing. Once I had the bearing rotating again I used a needle to carefully prize the rubber seal from the bearing and get some grease into the bearing and replacing the seal. It's a fiddly time consuming job but I got it done. I presume yours has a little light on the head to tell you that the brush is turning. If so then that is due to a small magnet on one end of the brush roller passing a coil mounted in the housing. If the light doesn't work after you put it back together then you have the roller in the wrong way round. Don't listen to those others, I still think it's the best vacuum cleaner I've had.
Please read the following text first and answer my question.1. Is it feasible to make these appliances such as vacuum cleaners, illuminations, TVs, HDD recorders, air conditioners and such smarter in such a short period? When I feel the distance between quot;makeand quot;smarteris a bit far away, how should I rewrite it?
These appliances indicates that you have already identified them, so you don't need such as vacuum cleaners, illuminations, TVs, HDD recorders, air conditioners and such here. If you haven't in fact identified them, you can change these appliances such as vacuum cleaners, illuminations, TVs, HDD recorders, air conditioners and such to common household appliances. You should also eliminate and such even if you don't take either of my suggestions; the such as at the beginning already implies that there are other similar examples so it's redundant as well as repetitive.
Can anyone give me the manufacturers contact in Malaysia pls?
