- Poor sales
- Q:How efficient are vacuum cleaners in preventing the dust and other dirt that they suck from escaping through the air outlet. I'm using a Khind branded wet and dry vaccum cleaner model VC 3661, priced about USD 60, manufactured in 2004. The type that is shaped like a bucket and has its air outlet facing upwards and a removable, washable cotton bag inside. I notice that it has only two layers (slices) of dark -colored Sponge like material when I remove the air outlet cover. Is that sufficient to prevent dust, dirt and most importantly bacteria from coming out form the cleaner itself. It could be releasing the bacteria and spreading it all over the place.
- The filters in any vacuum cleaner get CLOGGED after approx 15 min of cleaning, use a Rainbow this has a bowl of water that catches the dust, (wet dust does not fly about!!) after every cleaning you empty the water down the toilet, the next best one will be the Dyson.
- Q:What are everybody's opinions on the Kirby HI/HII/LI/LII vacuum cleaners/carpet shampooers?
- My opinion is that you NEVER want to buy a carpen shampoo machine. The ones for regular people are really worthless. The best thing to do is get somebody over to shampoo your carpets - they have a huge machine in their truck, and it actually works. Talk to any rental outfit or store that sells construction materials - the contractors often hire these guys to clean up their places... and they're not that expensive.

- Your dog is probably thinking oooh goody a toy play play play play!!!! he/she might also be thinking, Oh no that stupid and loud vacuum cleaner is on again, or What is that thing? Its invading my territory. What if it pees and marks its spot? aah!!!! I would suggest putting your dog outside when you vacuum. It wouldn't hurt your dogs ears as much (because he/she wouldn't hear it) And if your dog does have a territory in your home, and your dog is inside, don't vacuum so close to it unless your dog could really care aless or he/she is outside! I really hope this helped!

- Sounds like it caused some internal bruising and fluid from the underlying breast lymph tissue to be forced into the outer tissues and caused swelling of these tissues. It will probably resolve it self over the next 6 weeks. This is not the first stupid thing I have seen people do with vacuum cleaners. A ice pack may help take away some of the swelling.

- My mother in law had a Sears cannister and after she bought it did nothing but complain about dragging it around behind her or tripping over it. I inherited it after she passed away and hated it for the same reasons; Give me a good old fashioned upright any day. We had a display home cleaning service and used nothing but Eureka and Hoover uprights. Loved both brands. A friend had a Kirby and it was so hard to change the belt on it she had to wait until her son could come to do it for her which was quite often..Another friend has a Oreck and loves it.

- They have an excellent reputation, but nowadays, with the advancement of technology, you can walk into your local Wal-Mart and find a vacuum cleaner that's less expensive and just as efficient. Kirby people will tell you that their V/cleaners last for years, but so do the cheaper brands.
