Q: I have a house cleaning business, we clean 2 homes a day and after buying 14 vacuum cleaners in the past 2 years I am done with spending money on vacuums that don't hold up or are 2 heavy or have so many filters to clean that you spend your evenings doing that. I use a dirt devil and also carry a small wet/dry vac,both are 3 years old.I have found the more expensive brands are not always the answer as mileage may vary. I have found there is an inherent cost of doing business,vacuums being a wearable tool.It does sound as if your on the way high end of costs.There is generally 2 reasons for premature failure.The first is of course bad/inappropriate product,the second being an operator issue. I understand what works for me may not work for you.I wish you luck in finding a more cost efficient system. My Best

Q: anyone know how well the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser vacuum works?: I don't know about that one. I do have a suggestion if you can afford to spend a little more money though. The Dyson vacuum cleaners are excellent. We have one and have three cats and a dog and it really does a great job.

Q: My dog sheds very very bad. The vacuum cleaner I have does a terrible job. If course I would like to have the best for the lowest price. I know Dyson has their pet versions of all of the vacuum cleaners but I am trying to avoid spending $500-$600. Any Ideas?: brush the dog daily, keep your house cooler maybe it will shed less, ask the vet if the dog has a shortage of some vitamine since that can make him shed more. any vac with a rotating brush is better than one thats not, if you own the house take up the carpet and put down laminate floors or ceramic tile. check consumer reports for the vac that works best on pet hair as i dont know that the most expensive is the best but rainbow is the most expensive, however it spits all the dirt into water so no dust comes out the back side at all.

Q: How do I repair the belt of the vacuum cleaner?: Re install the vibration lever and adjust the drive belt as necessary

Q: I have a one-year old and lots of crumbs on my floor that our vacuum won't pick up. We currently have a bag less Bissell and I hate it. We've replaced all the filters and cleaned it but it still hardly picks up a thing. It leaves little hair balls on our carpet and kicks dust back in the air. I have to open the windows every time I vacuum so we can breathe!We're looking to get a new vacuum and I am interested in any brand and reviews you can recommend.
