Q:Are you afraid of vacuum cleaners?
I was when I was little. I once had a dream a vacuum cleaner was moving on its own and chasing me. haha.
Q:Do you think working a job selling vacuum cleaners would be a sucky job?
Wow dude, that's hilarious.
Q:Do Roomba robot vacuum cleaners actually vacuum, or are they just sweepers?
They are great- We bought my Mother one for Christmas, and she loves it, as tiny as they are, they pick alot, she has a white pomeranian and it picks up all of his hairs, if your thinking of getting one- they really are worth the expense!
Q:survey - why do vacuum cleaners suck so much ?
Not as much as most politicians do.
Q:Where could I find info. on this on what equals what? Thanks!
Watts is amps x volts. So, it is just different ways of saying the same thing. Buy your sweeper, take it home and use it. If you don't like it, take it back and get another, if you don't like that one, take it back and get another.
Q:If i reduced considerably the size of the hose of a vacuum cleaner say by 4, is the suction power goin to increase by 4? Since pressure is equal to force/area. im trying to make my vacuum cleaner ultra powerful. thank you.
In a machine with perfect efficiency (which doesn't exist), your math may add up, but in this case the motor only has a limited amount of power. Decreasing the nozzle size would introduce more drag on the motor, which as said before, could burn it out.
Q:I mean money. Our company pay based on how many clients we sign. The top sales persons can sign 3 person per day on average. And that is $40 Australian dollars per sign. On my first day, I signed one customer successfully, but my boss told me that he had a problem with my working attitude. Now let's do that maths, we work 10 hours per day, and if we sign 3 people, that is $120/ 10 hours, that is $12/hour. If we are not lucky, (just like my quot;bosson that day), we could only sign 2 people, then it's $80/ 10 hours, that is $8 per hour. To compare, the a waiter in China town earns $8 per hour. And if I am not lucky, I can only sign one person, that is $4 per hour.I am not very happy with the pay and the quot;bossis having problem with my working attitude --- he wants me to work harder. Well I am currently in uni, let's be realistic, can I find a job with better pay than this? Should I leave the job or not?I have to reply to my boss if I want the job or not by tonight. Thanks
Im not sure if this is even totally legal in Australia - it depends n what conditions you are employed... but this gets quite complicated and in the long run wont be worth your time. Solution - find another job and then quit! (dont just quit before you find another job though - that would be kinda silly). .
Q:Has anyone or does anyone work for Rainbow Vacuum cleaner company? If so, is it worth working there. Would it be a good part-time job? Im just looking to make a little extra money? What is the experience like? Please give me details?
I have been in the cleaning business for 20 years and have had some experience with vacuum cleaners. I think you could have an excellent vacuum for around $300-$400. (Panasonic, Sanyo, Sharp) After seeing the Rainbow demonstrated, I just don't think they are worth the money. I also don't get how they clean the air. Basically, they are passing the dirty air over some water (not through it). and call this cleaning the air and filtering out the dirt. Check out some of the above vacuums online and save yourself some Christmas money. I just recently bought a Sanitaire SC6600 for our house and we really like it. Paid Approx. $325.00. It is commercial, 2 motor system, tools and stretch hose on board, carpet or hard floors (your can turn the beater brush off and just have air flow). Hope this helps.
Q:which are the best vacuum cleaners?
killed 3 dysons had a henry for the last 4 years and cant fault it for ?90,
Q:He doesn't seem to be scared of any other loud noise but he screams when we go to the store and pass by them. He also panics when we touch or go near our own vacuum at home. I just wonder if this is normal he's been scared of it for the longest time and still can't seem to get over his fear.
I think all kids have some sort of weird phobias. My 5 year old is terrified of most toilets. She hates the self flushers. I have to sit on it behind her so it doesn't flush while she is going. I would suggest getting him one of those toy vacuums from the toy store. My daughter has one that actually picks up some things. If he can learn to help mommy vacuum with his own, he may not be afraid of them anymore.
