Q:Dog question?
Don't worry! My dog was the same way! They are scared because of the noise and are afraid that THE THING is going to get them. Good luck! :^)
Q:Why do riding mowers and vacuum cleaners?
On a riding lawn mower, so you can see obstructions if you are cutting under a shady tree, or bush. Commercial lawn maintenance people cut grass before the sun comes up at five in the morning for federal buildings. The light on the vacuum cleaner is handy yet again for seeing when vacuuming under a desk or table where the lighting is dim.
Q:Why are vacuum cleaners so noisy?
It takes a powerful motor to create the suction needed to make a vacuum cleaner effective. There are quiet models, but they don't work as well. The best way to use a quiet vac is to go with a central, and have the canister mounted in the basement or garage. All you hear is the motor in the power head if you are vacuuming carpet, or the air moving if you are vacuum hard surfaces. Hope this helps.
Q:thinking of buying an LG compressor vaccum cleaner, does anyone have reveiws of this product?
i dont have any idea for this but i will recommend u to go for an eureqa vaccumm clnr its more reliable and provides life time service free with no issues
Q:Vacuum bags or bagless vacuum cleaners?
I wanted a cloth bagged vaccuum but they just dont seem to make them, we have a rather dusty old house and I can fill a bag in no time and dont want to be buying endless paper bags. I bought a new vaccuum with the disposable paperbags BUT I also bought this attachment that goes on the hose like a jug and all the dirt, well 98%, goes in this jug that you can just pop off and empty when its holding enough, amazing how much goes in there and now instead of filling a bag within a week I empty the jug after every room, sometimes more, and I have a bag now that lasts about 5 months. SO my answer is like a mixture of the two. OH yes I was also told that the bagless types dont have the suction of the bagged ones, whether this is true, I dont know but I am WAY SO happy with my set up!!!!!
Q:opnions on what the best vacuum cleaner is?
Based on Consumer's Reports about vacuum cleaners, I went with an Eureka The Boss SmartVac. It actually does a better job for pet hair removal than the Dyson Animal. I'm an older woman and have had many vacuums thru the years and this is absolutely the BEST vacuum I've ever owned. It has a Pet Brush attachment as one of the tools and it's fantastic. Removing cat hair from the chairs and sofa was always a problem, but not now!! It was about $150 (on sale) and well worth the money.
Q:How many products can you name that are intended to only last a short time?
anything that has to do with medicine
Q:Will human hair clog the Dyson DC25 Animal?
I have a Dyson and I love it! I have never had a problem with it. I have the DC14 and I've had it for about 10 years now.If it ever breaks down or gets worn out I'm gonna get another Dyson for sure. You can't go wrong with either one you choose but I'd ask a sales person what the difference between the two is.Have fun, nothing beats a Dyson.
Q:Stick vacuum recommendations?
Funny you should post this question...I have been researching the lightweight vacuums...have seen what others own (didn't like...too noisy, etc)....and decided on sticking with BISSELL products as I love their line. I ordered a Bissell PowerForce Compact (in fuschia color, also comes in lime and plum) for $34.87 from Walmart online....was only 97 cents to ship it to my door! I absolutely LOVE it...it only weighs 11 lbs (which is less than each of my 2 cats!) and has a smaller path than a larger, bulkier vacuum. It comes with a crevice tool and a brush. It's cyclonic and easy to clean. Filter is washable. A drawback (if you think it is) is that the cord is not as long as larger vacuums...but the machine has GREAT suction power and goes from carpet to floor with no knobs to adjust. In fact, they have outstanding customer service: it happened that my machine was missing its brush, but when I called Bissell, they quickly are sending one out (no cost of course). If you want to see it...go to walmart and search for Bissell Power Force Compact. And it's not overly noisy either! My neighbor has a Dirt Devil and that thing is horrible!! Sounds like a jet engine and drowns out everything and doesn't come with tools. I put it to the test and it maneuvers nicely...and all the cat hair banished....so very pleased with it. Another alternative for you would be to check out the vacuum/steam mop for floors that Bissell has (but that's a lot more money)...but again, it all depends on what you want the vacuum to do. All in all.....stick with Bissell...my family and friends all have good luck with their product line.
Q:Can anyone recommend a good, lightweight vacuum cleaner with good suction power and fairly priced?
I have a Bissell liftoff and it works really well. We have three cats and a dog and it picks up all that hair. You can detach the canister and carry it around with just the hoses which is really helpful to clean in small spaces. I absolutely love this vacuum.
