Q: My Vacbag keeps splitting when I use it, why does it keep doing that?

Your Vacbag may not be the one suited for your unit, as it will split if it is not the right size for the vacuum cleaner. The bag itself is not an issue with size or shape, but if the hose doesn’t fit into it then it breaks it. We have a range of Vacbags for many models of vacuum cleaners, we can always see if one fits your model or if there is a distributor near you.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q: I was pricing vacuum cleaners and some say they have 12 volt motors and some 6 amps. Which is the better buy?: I knew the science, but doubted my knowledge, which was probably the marketers' goal. Searching for a stick or hand-vac, and some say volts, some say amps, none say both, and the rare one lists watts or any kind of measure of suction. They don't *want* us to be able to do the math.

Our vacuum broke, so is there a way for me to clean all this without a vacuum???: if your windows are open, try to keepthem closed as much as possible..especially when its windy..alot of dirt and dust comes in that way..you can use a broom to sweep the carpet, it doesnt work as well as a vacuum, but it will be able to pick up some of the bigger particles that are in the carpet...for area rugs take them outside and shake them..if you have pledge or furniture polish, you can use that with a rag to pick up dust off of smooth surfaces, if you dont, just use a damp rag.. and dont feel bad about your situation...everyone goes through hard times sometimes, we have all been there, strong families like yours are the kind that stay together forever and thrive..keep your head up, things will get better for you!

Q: I have waited a year or so to finally get my hands on a hand vacuum cleaner because my mom said we needed to get a good one. Well she finally bought one, but she only bought it because it was ON SALE. I don't know much about hand vacuum cleaners, except this one SUCKS.It's by Sunbeam and it's called quot;Star Elite.It doesn't have a lot of power, only has a small opening to collect dirt etc (1quot;x 1cm) and is horrible at picking up stray pieces of hair. It only also works for 15 minutes and then it has to be charged for 15 hours.The main problem out of all that I have is the lack of power and horribly ability to pick up stray hair off the ground.Does anyone know a hand vacuum cleaner that is certainly better than this?: I have a dyson hand held one These are great on suction for something so small You charge yours for 15 hours and only works for 15 minutes ? Q: I was wondering how mch Psi/Atm needed for the high and low pressure pool vacuumes such as The Surfer Above Ground Automatic pool cleaner.: You can never have more than 1 atm in a vacuum system. Obviously the more vacuum you generate, the better it will clean. Most vacuum cleaners probably produce between 50-80 inches of water vacuum.

Q: In other words, why are some electric motors very quiet but others are so loud? Why can't they make a quiet vacuum cleaner?: The noise of a vacuum does not come from the motor, but from the eddies in the air being sucked. Open a vacuum cleaner and remove the impeller (the fan) and it would get a lot more quiet.
