Q:Im gitting some speed skates and the wheels on them are BOE BOE. I need some help
hard problem. look into over google or bing. that will can assist!
Q:ok. just put the new wheels in the freezer and was wondering how long do i leave them in there to see results.
keep them in there for one day they tend to shrink and the rubber gets harder so they can last longer
Q:I started feeling a vibration in my 2008 hyundai accent while driving at a constant speed. the vibration doesnt get worse or better when i turn the wheel either way. I was told its my front driver's wheel bearing (not by a mechanic) but i just replaced both front wheel bearings less than a year ago.... they shouldn't already have play should they??
you can check it yourself by raising that wheel off the ground then trying to shake it.
Q:I bought a skateboard and it says on the box the wheels are size 54/36 And i want to replace the wheels. Well, I go online to look at better wheels and i see the different sizes. Such as 55mm, 58mm, 50mm etc, And the closest size i see to the listed size on my board is 54/100A. Is this the right size? Remember that the box only says 54/36 not 54/36mm or 54/36A. Please help!
They are 54mm.that's it, you can pretty much have ANY wheels size you wants as long as it'll fit under your board. If you have to low of trucks an dto big of wheel you'll get wheel bite(wheels rubbing the bottom of the deck). Wheels really depend on what type of skateing you want to do. For mostly street skating not so much park you'll want 52mm-55mm, and you'll want them to be a softer wheel. soft wheels grip better to all types of terrain, hard wheels slide better and don't grip to well. Good for park or vert. The bigger the wheel the faster it'll roll. You also want a mid size wheel like 52-55 for street because they won't stop on rocks or cracks making you fall down they'll roll better over them. I like 53mm wheels the best, never had any problems with them and my style of skating is mostly street. I would never get a wheel under 52mm for any style of skating just because it's not really needed.lots of people will say you'll be able to flip a skateboard better for tricks with a small wheel.not true. you'll flip a skateboard better with practice, don't blame the equipment for bad tricks. I started out on old school decks that where super wide and super heavy and did just fine. The 100A is a hard wheel, the higher the number the harder the wheel the lower the number the softer it is, so like say you find a 54mm that says 54/80A that's a pretty good wheel for street, stay in the 80's up to mid 90's. Especially if you're just starting out the better the grip you have the best you'll learn.
Q:First of all i live in Michigan, so the winters get pretty nasty.I want to get a 1994 Mazda miata, a little two seater convertible. This car is rear wheel drive and my dad wants me to get a front wheel drive car because he says its much safer during the winter. Is this true? And how much safer is it??
If rear wheel drive is so bad, how did we survive? Nobody had FWD until Olds made the Toronado, and not very many of them were on the road, but we still made it everywhere we wanted to go. Why are most taxis and police cars RWD? Why is Pontiac going back to RWD? Why is Chrysler making more RWD? Why is Mustang still RWD. What about Mercedes, and most Volvos? The truth is FWD is no safer that RWD in the winter, it is all about having the right winter tires and knowing how to drive. That isn't to say some cars aren't better balanced for winter driving than others. The best winter driving car I have ever owned was a 1976 Mercury Bobcat wagon, RWD. A close second is a 1995 Escort, FWD. I have also driven full size RWD cars in winter without problem. I would suggest the Miata may not be the greatest winter car unless you plan on putting a good set of winter tires, like Michelin X-Ice, or something like that. Not because it is a rear wheel drive car, but because it is a small low car, built for open road handling. You cannot make a blanket statement that FWD is better or safer in winter, and if you believe that, you have not learned to drive in winter. FWD will get you going a little better up a slippery slope you have stopped on, that is the only real advantage, taking the same basic car, with the same tires, and the same driver skill set. I have driven well over a million and a half miles over 42 years, living in Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg, I do know winter driving. I have never had an accident on ice, or in snow in all that time.
Q:What is wheeling?
It is a city in illinois
Q:I want to change the front wheel of Micro Sprite Scooter to 100m wheelthe front wheel of Micro sprite is 120m.do u think it will fit?
Do you mean 100mm? You can measure it with a ruler w/milimeters on it, just measure the width between the outer edges (where the tire bead would lay) If you are talking mm then a 120 mm rim would most likey not fit, you must take into consideration the area needed for the front fender and forks. The tire would rub on them. if your going smaller, there should be no prob.
Q:Can you name any songs with the word Wheels or Wheel in the Title and/or Lyrics?I‘ll just post one of my own here and see what everyone else comes up with! ;)Paul McCartney amp; Wings - Helen Wheelsyoutu.be/6qnRvJZfh1c
Wheels of Fortune - Doobie Brothers
Q:I‘m looking to find out what staggering tires or wheels means since I have no idea what that is.
Staggered tires/wheels are when the back tires are wider than the front. The diameter of the wheels are the same for instance 18', 19, etc. wheels, but the tire sizes and the width of the rims are different. A lot of sports cars like M-3 BMW's, Porsche's, and Corvettes have staggered wheels to give the cars a more aggressive look.
Q:1999 Ford Explorer, everything worked fine. Recently had a lot of front end parts repaired.Today I replaced the rotors, pads and caliper brackets (all brand new parts) on the front wheels. After this, the steering wheel and front wheels vibrate when turning whether the car is in park, stopped with the brakes applied or moving. I touched nothing related to the steering as far as I can tell. I checked the power steering fluid and it is full. There are no unusual vibrations or noises coming from the engine. If I stand outside the car and turn the wheel, I can see the tires shake.Any ideas?
