- it won't cause mould to occur so long as you gently go over the stain with warm water and a bit of washing powder,not with any foam or mousse as they will bleach your carpets(they really do bleach).after that,go over it again with just warm water and soak out moisture with a towel or tissue paper.when completely dry,lightly sprinkle talcum powder over it to keep away any smells.don't hoover it off,just let it get walked into the carpet and hoover it the day after.
- Q: colour-not quiter pink-not orange-2 choices I have seen- background medium to lighter green rug with same paprika colour it-abstact pattern or background almost same as sofas with some light green and light blue--is it better to have mor colour that matches sofas or introduce new coulor and pop the sofa colour in it? - you can cut it yourself but it's not the best idea as it can get messy, you'll end up with the rug coming to bits. go to a local carpet shop and ask them for the tape (not sure what its called) that will prevent this from happening. good luck

- A shop vac ( wet/dry ) is the best thing. If you've got some clean paint rollers you can roll them across the wet area to help dry it. Otherwise, regular towels will have to do.
