- Q:we were sittimg looking at carpet wondering what it is made of.
- Its made out of carpet.
- Q:nan
- Generally, it's polypropylene. There are also nylon, wool and blended yarn that are of good quality for carpets.
- Q:What material is persian rugs/carpets made of?
- Persian rugs are mostly made of wool, but you can find a combination of wool and silk. Back in the day they would even use cotton and gold. I wish I had one of those!!
- Q:ive got a 3 year old welsh cob and he takes his rugs off because he don't like them but i want to know how i could get him used to them.idea's?Thanks
- Here is my trick to training horses to use rugs... Step 1- Tie him up to cross ties and make sure that his hind quarters are not near any horses. I say this because if he gets scared and backs up, a horse may bite him, if they are protective of their space, or just don't like other horses. Step 2- Fold the rug in half and slowly and gently place it on his back. Step 3- Give the horse a treat and praise him. Step 4- Begin to unfold the blanket, slowly, and make sure that it is in the right place on his back. Praise him. Step 5- Begin to SLOWLY do one of the straps. Wait a moment and do one more. Stroke theb horse on his shoulder and finish slowly fastening the straps and praising the horse. Step 6- When the rug is on properly, let the horse stand in one place and get used to having something new on his back. Step 6- After about 5-10 minutes, lead the horse around slowly and be ready to let go of the lead rope if the horse suddenly freaks out. Remember to always praise the horse and take it SLOOOW. Good luck! :))
- Q:I am thinking of buying a rotovac carpet cleaning system to start up a new business. Are they as good as they claim to be???
- I think both are ok but You need best suggestion so Click on www.okorder . This is one of the best site of carpets.
- Q:We just got new carpeting last year in our family room, and are driveway is flat. It rained really hard three days ago, and the water came into the house and got are carpet soaked! We borrowed a carpet cleaner that sucked up about six buckets of water, but now its dry enough that it isnt sucking anything else up, but the carpet is still wet. It also smells like mildew in our house now. I sprayed Febrez, but the smell keeps coming back. Any ideas on how to get the rest of the water, and the smell out of the carpet?
- try using a humidifier this will help to take some of the water out , but I think it would be a better idea to have your carpet cleaned properly with the right machine,
- Q:Theres lot of blood on my carpet
- Call a certified professional hot water carpet/upholstery cleaner. to locate this pro near you. They have the equipment, solutions, and know how to remove stains from carpeting. This stain is best handled with enzymes, followed by extraction, rinsing of the stain. A product called Absorb a Stain is then poured over the stained area to absorb any wick up that may occur. The Absorb a stain is then vacuumed off the carpet a day later when everything has dried. Protect your carpet investment, do this project right.
- Q:My carpet is only 4 1/2 years old and in good shape with no big stains. My only complaint is that it's too light. Someone suggested having my carpet dyed a darker color, but I've never heard of anyone doing that before. Has anyone had this done before or know anyone who has? If so, what are the pro's and con's? Thanks :)
- once okorder as they have been in the carpet dyeing and cleaning business for years. Also check the yellow pages and ask for references on their dyeing jobs.
- Q:Carpet has rich patterns, gorgeous colors and diversified shapes, which can not only become the coordination agent of space, but also integrate space to improve texture. For example, the overall tone is monotonous. Paving a carpet with rich colors can not only make the space less empty, improve the sense of hierarchy, but also meet the personalized needs of residents.
- The fluff on the carpet surface can capture and adsorb the dust particles floating in the air, so that it is not easy to disperse again, reduce the indoor dust content, and effectively improve the indoor air quality.
- Q:alright so I have an image I would like to make into a hook rug but I can't just do it myself by looking at the photo, I need the image printed onto the hook rug base, is there anyway to have that done? can I copy the image onto the hook rug base?
- There's an old low-tech technique for copying things like this that's been used for many years. Make a photocopy of your original. Draw a grid over it, using a ruler and being very precise. Or, photocopy your image onto grid paper. Draw a grid on your rug base -- yes, use a ruler and be very precise. Make sure the grid on your rug base has the same number of squares as the grid on your aper. They will be different-size squares, of course, but make sure there are the same nuber of squares. Now, carefully copy the contents of each grid square from the paper to the rug base. Turn the whole thing (yep, both the paper and the rug base) upside-down and work that way if you have trouble copying it right-side-up. You will find it much easier to copy one square at a time, and you'll have an excellent pattern for your rug. Have fun!
