Q: i really don't understand the rug sizing.Could somebody please explain:a: roughly what size rug fits what size ponyb: what size would fit my Welsh Sec C stallion?
all you have to do is take a flexible measuring tape, put the start of it in the middle of his chest, go around the widest part of his body, aroiund the point of his butt, and to the center of his tail. whatever the measurement is, that's the size you need. if the rug doesn't come in the size, go up the next bigger size they have. i'd guess roughly a 66 inch rug for the welsh.
Q: that keeps shedding. it's a wool rug and I love it, but I just bought it and it shed shed sheds all over the place. What to do to stop the shedding.....or will it just continue forever?
Spray the rug with a static protector spray from time to time .
Q: The carpet stains to clean
Edible oil stains: use gasoline or carbon tetrachloride and other volatile solvents to clear, the remaining parts should be cleaned with alcohol.Sauce oil stains: first stains with cold water brush, and then washed with detergent can be removed. Chen stains can use warm water with detergent and ammonia scrubbing, then rinse with water.Grease: wipe with gasoline, turpentine or alcohol, and wash with soap.
Q: We are trying to get the carpet in one of our bedrooms in our house replaced, but we are on a tight budget. We went to home depot and they said they would have to charge us around $900 to replace all the carpet padding and install the new carpet. we said that we would leave the same padding (to save money), but the woman told us that it is an ohio state law that carpet companies MUST replace the padding if they are going to replace the carpet too. another company we called said this isn't true. was the lady at home depot just trying to get more money out of us, or is there really a carpet padding law? I cant seem to find anything about it. any help is appreciated.
Is this home you own or rent? And also what state are you in? I know there are states where if you are a landlord, you have to replace carpet and padding every 2,3,5 years for your tenants. I dont believe that I've heard of any law that requires you to replace carpet padding in you own your home while you are replacing yoru carpet (however its a good idea to change the padding if you are doing new carpets, because the old padding will retain the stains, and odor of your old carpet, and if you've had water damage, there may be mildew as well).
Q: how to make a latch rug
Most people start with a kit consisting of a painted canvas, sufficient cut yarn to complete the project, and a latch hook. 1. Bind the edges of the canvas either with rug binding or with temporary tape to prevent raveling. 2. Take a piece of yarn of a color that's used at your starting edge. Fold it in half. 3. Insert your latch hook under the thread of the canvas that is the same color as the yarn. 4. Insert the fold of the yarn into the hook. 5. Pull the hook back out from under the bar of the canvas, keeping the loop of yarn on the hook. 6. Slide the hook forward in the loop, hook the two legs of yarn, and pull them through the loop. Tighten to secure. 7. Repeat 2-6 until all the rug is covered with yarn. Normally, you would start on a long edge and put a row of yarn across, then go to the next row (rather than completing all of a color at one time).
Q: I am looking for a nice quality prayer rug. Where can I buy one online in USA? There are a lot of cheap poor quality rugs I am seeing, but I want something nice.
Why do you need a rug to pray on? Rugs are just textile fabrics with no supernatural significants
Q: It's a latex based paint, and a nylon carpet. Anyone have any tips on getting it out? The carpet is a gray color. Thanks so much :)
The best way would be to have it steam cleaned by a professional with truck mounted equipment!
Q: Just moved. Livingroom has off white walls solid wood flooring which is a golden oak color. Am buying olive off white livingroom furniture, but need to know what colors would go well for a large rug? The curtains are also green, but more pale. I'm not picky about the style rug; can be contemporary to Oriental, as long as the colors look good.
I would go for a shag pile, string coloured rug.
Q: So I'm looking for really soft, comfortable area rugs here in Toronto. But I don't want real animal fur. Fake Sheepskins, fake animal rugs. I'm just not sure where to look. Thanks in advance for your help.
I okorder / . . There is a lot of choice when it comes to bamboo.
