Q:I spilled hot hair removal wax on my carpet in two places in my aparment. A. Is there any way to remove the wax from the carpet. B. If there is not a way to remove it, does the whole carpet in the room have to be replaced or just the small area? C. How much does this generally cost. I would try ice to free it and then pick out the clumps then go to home depot or walmart and get OPPS it's in the paint department at walmart the liquid not spray kinda let it soak in for a while and then scrub your carpet with HOT water it should take care of it. It took candle wax out of mine. I own apartments and it usually costs about $500 a unit to purchase and install that is a one bed room and I don't know my size compared to yours. If it comes to the point you need to replace it you should notify your landlord and make sure he approves it so you don't end up putting carpet in and paying him. Some landloards are shady I personally would be thrilled I didn't have to worry about it. But I bet if you do the opps you'll be ok UPDATE do NOT use an iron because to get the heat high enough to warm it you will BURN the carpet

Try putting some laundry detergent on it and scrubbing it. Then soak it up with a towel, then wet it down a little bit, then soak it up again....viola!

Q:Okay.. Stupid question:Will a horse get caught up or whatever if they decide do roll while wearing a winter rug? Or will they be okay??Just wondering, cause I'm curious :)

As long as it has adequate straps, your horse should be fine. You want one with straps around each hind leg, as well as one or two belly straps. I've seen the ones that only have belly straps fall to the side when the horse rolls. Then the horse can step on it or get tangled in it.

Q:I have a 4 month old who's crawling and walking while holding onto things. Needless to say, he's 4 months old and falls flat on his face quite often and just pushes himself along face down with his legs for a few seconds before picking himself back up. If it has removed the color, you cannot fix that. Do you happen to have a piece of that rug left over? If so, you can replace the section in your rug that has been damaged by actually carefully cutting out a piece and replacing it with another. If you have some of the rug, just make sure you keep the direction of the pile the same in the piece you insert. I have done this to remove a stain ifrom a new rug and the piece was still there and unnoticeable years later when I sold the house.

I've been using them for years...in fact I owe several different kinds, always searching for a better model with 3 cats, and 2 dogs. And I never had a problem with them ruining my carpets.

There should be a tag somewhere on the rug with cleaning instructions. Generally, if something says washable, it means machine washable. Go to the JC Penney site and look for your rug. The larger ones have to be washed in a large commercial washer. If you do the smaller ones at home, I would wash two at a time to keep the washer balanced.
