Q: I spilled black nail polish over my carpet (pale purple) when I got back from a night out last night. I managed to pour vanish carpet cleaner over it overnight, and that's made the polish fade a bit, but does anyone know how I can get it right out?: This may sound crazy but it works, i spilt pink nail varnish over a creme carpet. And i got a sharp pair of scissors and chopped the top of the carpet of, like not must even came of just a bit of fluff and it actually looked exactly the same, no difference at all. And you couldn't see the nail varnish. because it was on the fluff of the carpet. and there was quite a lot of nail varnish spilt.. :S :D

Q: what is the best product to take out ground in dirt and pet messes my carpet is supposed to be green....its black in a majority of spots, and hard in other spots!i mean it doesnt have to be like 100 percent every stain taken outjust so it doesnt look so nasty, and i can actually have people over without them thinking im a slob,because im the complete opposite. my fiancee and and dont have the money right now to have all the carpet replacedand the previous owners (his family) obviously didnt care about the carpet, or cleaning for that matter.any help would be much appreciated.Thanks!: Another alternative: take a peek under the carpet. You might have hard wood flooring under it. If so, just rip the carpet up. You'll have a gorgeous floor and it will cost you nothing. Even if the floor needs sanding and re-staining, you'll have a beautiful floor for a very small investment. You can rent Sanding Machines from Lowe's and Home Depot. And Stains don't cost much. I resolved it by placing her full food bowl on the bed when I have company. A couple of possible reasons: 1. Dirty litter box 2. Change in litter type 3. Dogs not giving your cat privacy (cats like their privacy) 4. Odor from last incident is not removed 5. Emotional issue There are some good products to clean the rug that will remove the odor that you can buy at a pet store. Make sure to use it in your washer. A spot remover approach may not work. It will need to soak in it. Place her food bowl on the rug for a few days. Cats are very clean animals and will not eliminate where they eat. Good luck!

Do you remove your old carpet?: By carpet panels,do you mean carpet tiles? If so, you need to remove all your carpet first. Smooth the floor surface,or glue or nail down hardboard panels first. This will ensure even surface throughout area you want to cover.Do your panels have a sticky side? Or do you want to glue them? You need to use suitable glue(hardware shop should know). Measure floor area first. Always start from centre of room working outwards.This ensures any half-cuts you need to make will be on outside walls.Do you not have A Mega 10 website.? Q: I have just this cheap low shag carpet in my boys room I want to put down some wood planks. I don't understand why I would have to remove the carpet, it's so low it's not plush. Not quite as bad as commercial office carpet but pretty close to it. Can't I simply install the fllor over it, what's going to happen if I do?: it would not be a good idea. we do not understand how large of an section you're masking yet pull out the carpet and placed down which ever foam pad ( with vapor barrier) the producer is calling for. Do issues the right way the first time and not in any respect worry again. perhaps slightly extra artwork and $ yet well worth it.

Q: spill candle wax on my carpet and wont come off...: Varsol will remove wax but it may leave a stain on your carpet. Try it on a piece of the carpet you dont see (under a couch). I have done this before, on a multi colored carpet. You need to wash with soapy water after because of the smell.

Yarn stores, Michaels, Joanns any place that sells yarn should have rug kits. If you want to make an exceptionally large one, at least you could get the name of a company from the packaging and e mail or phone them.
