The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

- You are looking for bottom bracket bearings to fit a 1 piece crank... not pedal bearings. These are standard size and readily available HOWEVER since I assume they failed while you were riding the bearing cups should be replaced as well. This takes less than 15 minutes by an experienced mechanic. In summary, you need 2 bottom bracket bearings and 2 bearing cups for a 1 piece crank (and someone to install them correctly).

- The preferences are based on what works for you. For cleaning the bearings, I use lamp oil (desented kerosene) because it cleans out anything. I then wash it out with denatured alcohol which also dries the bearings. If you use a water based cleaner like citrus cleaners, do not soak them overnight since it can damage the bearings. Almost anything works for lubricants. Super light things like the sprays don't last very long. Some people spray them every time they go out. Oils roll quickly right away but are not as waterproof as greases or last very long. Greases are slower at the start but will last a lot longer. Use very little. A drop or two of oil or a few pin head sized blobs of grease.

- Don't waste money on ceramic bearings, they won't be of any benefit and that would show in your lap times being the same regardless of what you use. There is nothing wrong with well lubricated metal wheel bearings so spend your money on something that will make a difference to your racing like better brakes, better suspension, a mod to the motor, something positive .....

- I don't know ,but i say just continue to wait for the break in period.. Break 'em in man. make sure the bearings are installed correctly .. Make sure there in all the way in the chamber of each wheel. Don't tighten the bolt on the wheels to much neither.. Another thing that can help is adding some of that special bearing lubricant.. Or you can also apply motor oil. Dip your finger in oil and gently rub it around the side of the bearings.. Not to much just a little .etc.
