The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. - You should be able to tap the bearings out with a hammer and drift. If you use a brass drift it will be less likely to scratch the housings. You use a large socket to install the new bearings. Grease the bearing liberally first.The socket should bear only on the outer race and you carefully tap it into place. The new bearing may have a relieved edge to facilitate entry and the usual rule is that the writing on the bearing is the edge that faces you. If they are taper bearings you tighten them to hand tight then back off a quarter turn to obtain working clearance. This clearance disappears when the bearing gets hot in use. It would be advisable to buy the Haynes manual for the car as this will guide you through the whole procedure step by step.

- yah duude you shood seriously get reds bearings i got reds bearings like 3 days a go and there deffently worth ten bucks even tho i got my for $20. oh yah and if u consider my answer and goes out to get them is that they will make no sound at first like they usually make. here is one way that i no how to get them in, ok 1. get a screw driver and a hammer, then put the rubbery handle part on the bearing thats in the wheel, oh yah push the bearing in the wheel alittle first. lol, ok then the metal part that is stickin up you hit that with the hammer then it shood go in fine, well ok there you how to put it in and get the bearings, well peace out homme g.
- Q: As stated, I have a 2003 Honda Civic EX, 2dr, MT. I have been noticing a progressively louder sound from the rear of the car. We just got new tires, and at first I thought it was that, but its getting louder. I checked everything out and nothing seems to be rubbing. The breaks are within spec and the emergency break is not dragging. Upon inspection, the left hub bearing seems tight. I removed the wheels and drums and it does not turn as freely as the right side. It is NOT loose, just tight. Could this be the source of my problem? And if so, Can I just repack the bearings or do I need to replace them? The part only comes as a complete unit, so I cannot buy just the bearing set.
- Even if they are not loose, the wheel bearings can be noisy. You have gone through the proper steps of checking to make sure nothing is rubbing and check the brakes. The rear wheel bearings come pre-assembled in the hub unit, so you'd have to get the hub unit and replace it as a whole. Fairly straight-forward repair: Remove the wheel, remove the drum, pop off the cap that covers the spindle lock nut (the cap can be reused), remove the spindle lock nut (22mm) and throw it out (should always use a new one once it is removed), slide off the hub assembly. Reinstall with new hub assembly in reverse order. Be sure to torque the hub lock nut to proper specs (134 lb-ft), as if it is overtightened/undertightened it can cause the new bearing to prematurely wear out.

- yes, and chances are you will need to remove your axles and use a slide hammer to knock your wheel bearings out if this is a solid rear axle vehicle. when your remove the axles make sure they are not grooved where the axle rides and that the axles tubes aren't full of metal material.

- I would probably say around 3-4 (Small Ball Bearings) if i was in your currant situation i would use Vaseline to lube up your Urethra first this also will make the skin slightly more flexable inside and arround the Uethra, It could also be a good idea to measure the size of the Initial hole/opening and only putting ball bearings down there which you are comfortable with. When trying to extract the Ball Bearing i would put slight pressure on the Uethra behind ALL the Ball Barings and trying to slowly but comfortably squeeze them back out. If you cann'ot squeeze ALL the Ball'Bearings out after a few tries you should go to the Closest Hospital and tell them your EXACT situation.
