1.The drawn cup needle roller bearings are needle roller bearings with the deep drawn, thin-walled outer ring with either an open end or closed end.
2. The bearings are characterized by a very low sectional height and high load carrying capacity
3. The bearings are typically used in applications where the housing bore can not be used as a raceway for a needle roller and cage assembly but where a very compact and ecnomical bearing arrangement is required.
4. Typically, drawn cup needle roller bearings have a single row of rollers. However, wide sizes incorporate two needle roller and cage assemblies immediately asjacent to each other with a lubrication hole in the outer ring.
Product Applications:
Needle roller bearings are mainly used in car engines, transmissions, compressors, cranes, etc.

- Q: I will teach about bearings/bearing problems (trigonometry),and I'm looking for some good and fun teaching motivations or visual aids to catch the attention and interests of the students...Do you know some?or can you site a specific website on some good visual aids and teaching motivation?....thanks a lot! ^_^
- Depending on the age group, one of the resources I use is a print from googlemaps of the school. The students have a route they have to plan around different rooms faculties using bearings distances (scales). Make it as hard / easy / fun as you wish. Or a similar idea using a print of an estuary, with shipwrecks marked so they have to either avoid or hit as they wish. They seem to enjoy the crashing part! Other than that, here are some interactive websites to try: www.mathsonline .uk/freesite_to... www.active-maths .uk/whiteboard... (bearings is near the bottom of the page) www.10ticks .uk/s_gamesAndAct.a... good luck
- Q: i want to grease my bearings but i have no idea how to take them out... and i do want to break them or ruin them...how do i do it???
- There are many ways to look at this particular question. To actually get the entire bearing out of the wheel stick a screwdriver into the round hole of the bearing. Then just pop it out. To actually grease the ball bearings within the bearing, you have to pop off the back shield. I only know that you can do this with Bones Reds. They have a special back that sits in the bearing. Pull this off and you'll have access to the balls in the bearing. If you don't have Bones Reds don't try to take the back off, cause it might break the bearing. After pulling off the back, you can put lube in the balls and then spin the bearing in your fingers to spread the lube. To put the back, back on you need to properly separate the bearings. Then place the back on and replace your bearings into the wheel. Before greasing the bearing, wipe off the bearing with a paper towel, clean the bearings as well before greasing by shaking them in nail polish remover .
- Q: I have been watching tons of online videos on how to clean inline skate bearings, but none seem to be using the same bearings mine have. I have a pair of Rollerblade Activa 8.0 with SG9 bearings. It does not look like they can come apart the same way the others do to me. Any suggestions?
- Cleaning Rollerblade Bearings
- Q: what are skate board bearings?
- the bearings are the little balls in a cirle case...very little, they go into the wheel to make it turn. you can buy them at a local skate shop, NOT SOMEPLACE LIKE K-MART, WAL-MART, (etc.). they can run anywere from $14-$50.
- Q: i have a small amount of play in both of the front wheel bearings and i just want to know if i can go without buying all new wheel bearings.
- Ford Ranger Front Wheel Bearing
- Q: my skateboard is really squeaky but im not quite sure how to grease them....(another thing the bolts on the wheels are sort of loose...are they supposed to be like that or are they supposed to be tight??)
- take the bearings out of the board and submerge them in a cup full of oil for a day...Take them out the next day and use your thumb and undex finger to hold the middle and force it to spin....eventually theyll be awsome
- Q: do bones reds super bearings work good for longboards?
- zealous bearings, don't waste your money on those bearings.
- Q: how do theymake steel ball bearings so perfectly round and of the same size?
- They put the molten steel into a mold that shapes it. If they want to do another one, they use the same mold.
- Q: My car has recently started making extremely loud noises.. squeeking, squiling, grinding, and its all coming from the back of my car. This noise now continues while I drive, but at first it was just while I would press the brakes. Im trying to determine if this is my brakes going bad, or if it is my wheel bearing going bad. Anything would help thank you!
- If you jack the car up you can listen closely to the wheel bearings, and also try to rock the wheel by grabbing it at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock position, there should be barely any play. If you can wiggle more than a 1/2-1 mm then its likely the rear bearings have failed. If the bearings appear OK then remove the tire and try to remover the drum If the vehicle has disc brakes the pads will be exposed, if the discs are scored. grooved and damaged you will notice this immediately The disc should be almost polished smooth, with the disc brake pads held against the discs by the calipers, there should be at least 1/4 inch (6mm) of pad material. If you have drum brakes once you have removed the drum (remove cotter pin from cage and remove nut) inspect the shoes and brake hardware found inside, attached to the backing plate.
- Q: i am looking for new FKD bearings but i dont know which is better: FKD Abec 5 steel shield or abec 5 neoprene??
- Really no difference. Neoprene shields are a little easier to get out if you are going to clean or relube the bearings but you only have to take one out per bearing and only do it one time (since you don't reinstall the one you removed).
