Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :

The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be  used in accordance with application condition.

Q: I have a 98 Jetta GL and my left rear shock absorber has begun leaking fluid in the past month or so. I have also had issues with the bearings wearing out, so I had them replaced less than 2000 miles ago. But now these newly installed ones are giving me the telltale signs of going-to-crush-soon. Could a failing shock absorber cause uneven wear/premature failure of my rear wheel bearings? I know that the bearings were installed packed correctly. Also, on the hub assembly the nut that goes on just before putting in the cotter pin tends to loosen after about 50 miles of driving. I continue to tighten it, then back it off slightly but the problem still occurs. This occurs on BOTH rear wheels. I am at a loss for what can cause this. Help! Thanks!
If you disassemble the rear wheel bearings wash them out and wipe them clean I think you'll find your problem. Once wheel bearings are packed with disc brake grease, snugged not tightened, wheel spun by hand spun and castle nut backed off, there's no need to ever screw with them again.
Q: I have two land features which have line-of-sight to each other but are separated by several miles. It's very easy for me to get to one of them, and very difficult to get to the other one. I want to plot both on a map. With a good compass it would be easy, just stand at the first one and shoot a bearing to the second, but I don't have a good compass (or any compass at all). is there some other way to find bearings within a couple degrees of accuracy with minimal equipment?Things I do have:- Plenty of time on my hands- A good knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, etc, and a graphing calculator.- Google Earth- Sticks, stones, paper, cardboard, ruler, string, etc.......

Q: got a subaru outback 97, 174k is great all round except for is making whump whump noise that gets faster as car speeds up, squealing noise coming from wheels not assciated with braking or acceleration. it gets wobbly if the car gets to 70mph and when you reverse it makes a grinding noise. also in low gear it clatters from the engine somewhere, but stops doing that as soon as car is going and warmed up.anyone know whats happening, how much do you think it'll cost to fix if you do?thanks,
That's what it sounds like, a bad wheel bearing. It's been bad for a while and I believe it is so loose you are damaging other parts in the wheel. Impossible to give a quote until it's seen the extent of damage.
Q: i want something thatl go fast
I'll cover some basics with you about advanced longboarding. I'll first start by talking about trucks and bushings, then I'll move on to bearings. Longboarding can be divided into two sub-categories, that is downhill riding and free riding. Now each type of riding has different sets of parts which differ from each other to provide maximum performance for the style of riding. Downhill boards are usually at top performance with trucks that have a 42 degree base plate. You will sacrifice the maneuverability and carving ability of trucks with 50 degree base plates to sturdiness if you get 42's. However, you will be able to handle speed much better on 42's and the risk of 'speed-wobbles' will go down. Bushings are pretty difficult to choose. With all different hardnesses and shapes, it's hard to recommend anything that you will be satisfied with. Bearings are simple. Any bearings are basically the same but MAKE SURE you get completely sealed bearings. Ceramic bearings are pricey but supposedly improve performance. I recommend you look into Randall or Paris for trucks (180mm standard), Khiro for bushings (unnecessary), and Bones for bearings.
Q: how long does crankshaft bearings take to replace on snowmobile?
After splitting the engine case the crankshaft must be pressed apart in sections to remove the roller main bearings and needle bearings on the big ends of the rods. This is not a job for an inexperienced person with the wrong tools. All the sections of the crank must be indexed properly in a fixture before they're pressed back together. Nowadays a *new high performance snowmobile crankshaft including the bearings and rods cost more than a crankshaft for your car!
Q: The school orienteering course has set up three points marked ABC. From A, B has a bearing of 040 degrees. AB is 220m, BC is 180m and CA is 220m. Calculate the bearing of C from B
Van, Something other than an orienteering course has been setup, because orienteering doesn't use bearings. From point A, the competitor might want to follow the trail until it turns Left, and then continue through the forest 10m to B. From B, the edge of the clearing should be good to run along and then the building on the other side will provide a launching point to find C... Consult a geometry student as those angles and distances might be important to them;-) steve
Q: does anybody know what the best liquid to use for cleaning bearings?
W-D40
Q: Cylindrical roller bearings and needle roller bearings is the same thing?
It's certainly not the same thing. Look at the mechanical manual. Top of it. See what you've got
Q: how can i loosen the nuts that hold the bearings in on my hyper bike co bike?
spray some wd40 or pb blaster on it, then positioned the main appropriate sized socket on it, 6point in case you have it...and unfasten it with the ratchet...in case you choose on an prolonged ratchet cope with you will get extra leverage via putting a jack cope with or something like that over the ratchet. yet once you positioned all of it back mutually make constructive its tight yet not as tight because it rather is now
Q: what are some good trucks for my skateboard? and what are a good brand of wheels and bearings for my skateboard too?~Thanks~
bearings-bones reds, fast and they last a long time too trucks- i usually buy ventures but they're pretty heavy for the wheels, ricta, and find a wheel size thats perfect for you i always buy 53's
