Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :

The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be  used in accordance with application condition.

The draw up needle roller bearing has two structures-with retainer and with full of needles. They are are divided intoopenend type and close-end type. The structure with retainer has the single seal ring and double seal ring .The structure with full of needles has a large load carrying capacity.

Application Area:

Needle roller bearings are mainly used in car engines, transmissions, compressors, cranes, etc.

Q: After a wheel alignment my wheel bearings went bad, immediately.
depending on how far out of alignment your vehicle was it can cause severe rotation problems for the bearings and when re-aligned the worn areas of the bearings are no longer in proper position and you feel and hear them making noise, vibrating and worst of all if you continue driving on them you can destroy the hub as well and have a much more expensive repair! Having your vehicle in alignment isn't just for the sake of your tires it involves all of the suspension of the vehicle.
Q: when im parked on a flat surface my tires sit perfectly straight and look completely normal, then when i park on a small incline the tires and wheels spread t outward really bad, it turns and drives fine, it has 35 inch tires and 16.5 wheels and ive heard 4wd can cause it to do that but if anyone can give me some info thatd be AMAZING..lol-thanks
Could be wheel bearings, upper or lower ball joints... Either have an alignment shop check, or jack it up and check all of them yourself....
Q: What is the needle roller bearing model with outer diameter 21 and inner diameter 16?
Needle bearing roller bearings are cylindrical roller, relative to its diameter, the roller is thin and long, hence the name. Although the needle roller bearings with a smaller section, the load bearing capacity of the bearing is still high, with thin and long needle bearing roller (roller diameter of D = 5mm, L/D = 2.5, L roller length), so the radial structure is compact, its diameter and load capacity and other types of bearings at the same time, minimum diameter, especially for the supporting structure of radial installation size limited.
Q: the bearings are abec 3's and they just dont seem to go as fast as they used to. any suggestions on how to make them go faster?
I used to do this with old bearings: Soak them in soap water. It removes all the lubrication and makes them go really really fast. Of course, without the lubrication they won't last very long, and they are likely to freeze up or break apart, which would make you fall very violently. Which is why I used only old bearings to do this, and only used them for a short time before they crapped out.
Q: We took our 1996 ford aerostar van into the mechanic the other day and he said it needs new wheel bearings on the front left tire and something like the axle assembly done, he said the housing was cracked right open on both sides and they need to be replaced and he said all up it would cost $1200, seems like alot of money, I know its not a great explanation but if you no wat parts im talking about, do you think this price is right? Thanks
The hub has bearings in it. If the bearing started to go bad and you keep driving on it. That in turn will damage the axle shaft. You have to replaced the front hub which come with new bearings, axle, axle seal, ect. Parts can be had for about 300 on the net. But taking it somewhere for about 1200 sound about right. If your mechanically inclined you could fix it yourself. Spending 1200 bucks on that van does not make sense to me.
Q: is it cheaper to fix it or replace?
It's cheaper just to replace the pedals you can get them for $4 to $20 on line or at a bike shop.
Q: i had abec 5s bearings on my longboard, and a friend told me that bones swiss black bearings would be faster. i dont do tricks on my board i just cruise around. so i bought them for about 50 bucks. i put them on my sector 9 wheels and i spun them. with the abec 5s my 2 back wheels spun for about 35 seconds each and the 2 front ones spun for about 20. now they all spin for about 15 seconds each with the swiss bearings! and these are supposed bones swiss! are they messed up? do i have to grease them a bit first? or am i using the wrong wheels? until then im using my Abec 5s
Check to see if the bearings are seated correctly in the wheels. If that's not it, check to see if the nuts that hold the wheels on are too tight. If you loosen them a little, the wheels should spin better. You should also have 1 washer on each side of the wheel. This prevents the bearing from touching the truck and slowing it down. How long have you had the bearings? It usually takes a few week before they start to spin their best, once some of the oil they are packaged with dries out a little.
Q: For the bearings i was thinking between either super reds or biltins, and for the wheels i was deciding between Ricta white lightning boltz or bones 100's stf. Give your thoughts on which ones are better and even tell me if there are others you can recommend!
Both not very good choice for the bearings, but I don't know a lot about them. I do know a lot about the wheels, which you would definitly want to pick the Rictas, if you want to go fast and glide. You would pick the Bones, if you don't want to go as fast.
Q: i need to ride my bike be cause i just tore it apart to paint it but all my bearings fell apart
Without bearings, you can't steer, if you can't steer, you won't be able to keep the bike upright.
Q: I have a Myrtle Longboard with Sector 9 wheels...right now my wheels spin for about 30 sec...how long would it spin approximately with bones reds?
Free spin doesn't mean anything. You don't need new bearings unless yours are broken or rusted/seized. They won't make any difference. My Bones Reds spin for about 5 seconds.
