Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :
The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.
The draw up needle roller bearing has two structures-with retainer and with full of needles. They are are divided intoopenend type and close-end type. The structure with retainer has the single seal ring and double seal ring .The structure with full of needles has a large load carrying capacity.

- Q:I have this set of bearings i got recently with my skateboard deck i purchased on ebay, the board and bearings are brand new from 1988, the bearings was in there original package. When i took the bearings out they dont spin very much at all. They only read 608 zz on both sides and they come with silver spacers. Are these good bearings and if so, how could i beable to get these to work more better.
- More okorder and order some good bearings is my suggestion. If you want some high class bearings get Bones Swiss or Black Panthers, but any bearings on this site should be pretty good bearings. Price range from about $10-45.

- Q:Recently started getting alot of noise coming from the front of our truck. The sound is like a high pit ch noise the gets louder as the truck picks up speed. I would best describe it as a high pitch or like the sound of really big 4x4 tires as they drive by you on the freeway. I did the standard wheel bearing check. Jacked up the truck and pushed and pulled on the wheel. I get no shake or looseness. I can say that the passenger front doesn't roll as smooth as the driver front. I pulled the hub off and did a close visual and i can see nothing wrong. No leaking, scaring, or looseness. Just the lack of rolling smoothness like the other side. Could this be a bad bearing?
- More likely the brake is tighter on that side. If you can , back it off a notch or two and see if that helps. However, at 7 years old it would be a good idea to clean and repack the bearings, or even replace them, the races and seals.

- Bearings come in many types, and are designed for specific applications. Auto engines primarily create radial loading, but the loading is far from uniform through a single revolution. An application with uniform loading would normally use a ball bearing, but the extremes of force make a journal bearing with forced lubrication more suitable for high intermittent' loading. The image below shows typical journal bearings (bushings). The term reciprocal as an elision of reciprocating is entirely out of use (but might appear in manuals published in the 20's). Shaft bearing come in many categories, but in the case of non-linear reciprocating loads, they're now known as journal bearings.

- Your description leaves me guessing about your concept. For example is it a journal or a thrust bearing and for what kind of duty (load). The only truly separable bearings I know of are pressurised oil, white-metal lined journal bearings but I'd guess that tilting pad thrust bearings could conceivably be set up in some kind of a separable arrangement - the pads can be individually removed anyway; perhaps this would qualify for your separation requirement?

- I okorder . The truck mounting holes probably are the old long mount configuration. Tracker six track trucks will work for the old as well as the new hole configuration.

- Friction = heat Heat = fire possibility Fire possibility - liability of railroad Another item to consider -- roller bearings have been used for so long, I don't think there's anyone left of any railroad that knows how to repair friction bearings.

- Not sure which ones you are talking about here. If you are talking about the front bearings. Do you mean for one or both sides. Also remember this on alot of vechicals. Some are what are called pressed on and others are not pressed on. The ones that are not pressed on are alot cheaper to replace and if you and a friend are a back yard mechanics. Both of you should be able to do the job.
