Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :
The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall. The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.
The draw up needle roller bearing has two structures-with retainer and with full of needles. They are are divided intoopenend type and close-end type. The structure with retainer has the single seal ring and double seal ring .The structure with full of needles has a large load carrying capacity.
Description:
1.The drawn cup needle roller bearings are needle roller bearings with the deep drawn, thin-walled outer ring with either an open end or closed end.
2. The bearings are characterized by a very low sectional height and high load carrying capacity
3. The bearings are typically used in applications where the housing bore can not be used as a raceway for a needle roller and cage assembly but where a very compact and ecnomical bearing arrangement is required.
4. Typically, drawn cup needle roller bearings have a single row of rollers. However, wide sizes incorporate two needle roller and cage assemblies immediately asjacent to each other with a lubrication hole in the outer ring.
Application Area:
Needle roller bearings are mainly used in car engines, transmissions, compressors, cranes, etc.

- Q: i want something which is more free moveable or provide less friction then Ball bearings.thank you.
- This okorder /
- Q: What does ABEC for skateboard bearings mean?
- Sometimes the higher the number doesnt mean anything. You can get some ABEC3 that are just as good as ACEC 7. Like REDS for instance there like 13 dollars and they perform and last just as long as a pair that costs like 25 dollars.
- Q: i got a 1992 ford explorer and the axle bearing in the rear are gone out. but i dont know what i need to buy to replace it. im not sure if it takes an inner and outer like the front or does it just take one? please help
- Please disregard the first two replies completely. The bearings are NOT pressed onto the axle shafts. They are seated into the ends of the axle tubes. After draining the fluid out of the differential you only need to remove the C-clips that hold the axles in the differential carrier. The axles then slide out. Hold the old bearing against the new bearing while tapping the new bearing in place. This is so you tap it into place evenly. Then tap the bearing seal into place. Re-insert the axle shaft and C-clip. You can get a new axle cover gasket from a parts store or you can use just a layer of black RTV on the cover (works just as well; I use this method). Fill the axle housing back up with fluid.
- Q: How can we reduce friction by using ball bearings?
- Rolling friction is much lower than sliding friction. Ball or Roller Bearings always have much lower drag than sleeve bearings except for pressure fluid suspended sleeve bearings like in a car engine, but; it takes much more power to pressurize the fluid so it is essentially drag.
- Q: I'm buying this old classic 1983 yz125 for like 200 bucks. The guy said it needs a piston and bottom end bearings. I'm just a little confused on what bottom end bearings are. Like crankshaft bearings? Also if you know where I can find parts for an 83 that would also help to lol.
- Depends okorder /.. They can also be purchased at a bearing supply store.
- Q: lets keep it unanymous people
- it really doesnt matter what bearings you have, you just have to wear them in. but the higher ABEC they have usually means that there better
- Q: I need to know how to change my front wheel bearings on my 1996 honda passport 4 wheel drive
- To replace the bearings themselves, you’ll simply follow all of the same steps listed in the article, but also (A) remove the races from the hubs, (B) install a new set of races – which is best accomplished by using a very large socket that is the same diameter as the flat outer ring-edge surface of the race, and hammer them in until you hear the tone of the ringing sound change, which indicates that they have seated – and (C) install the new bearings…
- Q: Hello, in my car hit another car from side to side, so damaged by right front wheel. The wheel was bent/cracked. Other than that it drove straight.Insurance is fixing the body work. After inspecting the car, they said the steering knuckle was loose/damaged.Is it possible for just a steering knuckle to get damaged, and not have to replace the wheel hub assemble/wheel bearings?
- just the steering knuckle as you call it
- Q: I wanna clean and lubricate my longboard bearings. Can I soak them in Mr.Clean to get the dirt out, or would that cause damage to my bearings?
- Mr. Clean is water based, it will cause the bearings to rust. Use a solvent based cleaner. I use denatured alcohol. Once the bearings are clean, use a skateboard bearing lubricant.
- Q: i just bought a new set of bearings and put some lubrication on 'em. but when i put them in my wheels and spun them they make a little grinding noise. i don't know if this is normal or not but any help would be appreciated.
- Do your bearings still have their shields on? You might want to pop those off to let the excess grit out rather than trap them in there to create some sort of build up. It could also help to ride them again since lubing up bearings basically resets them to a new state, in which case you just need to simply break them in again. And like other posters have mentioned, Bones Speed Cream is a great recommendation for bearing maintenance. Bones have been making other quality skate products for a while now, so I'd definitely go with what they have to offer rather than something else that wasn't made primarily for skating.
