- synthetic water proof rugs are great! I clip horses and have a few myself! New Zealand is a little different in climate, but anyways, here is what you need to consider.... What kind of clip the horse will have, this is generally govened by workload. More hair removal = more rugs, of cause! How often you can attend to your horse. Natural fibres are more breathable, so wool under rugs are a good option. Wool aslo stays warm if they get wet, synthetic rugs can be a bit sweaty on milder days. Wool however, can cause more rubs, anti rub vests are advised. Extra blankets at night, and remove one during the day. Some horses naturally feel the cold more than others, Some will only need a heavy 300g fill waterproof cover, others may need extra.. such as an additional 220g underrug with neck rug, day and night, or just for night. Some may even need a third rug if fully clipped out. You will be better to wing it and learn as you go once you have your horse. Budget for the worst and hope for the best ! Hope that helps !

- I have the chocolate stripe one, i also have the sheet, stable rug and exercise fleece! They all excellent. The fleece is just thick enough, without being too stuffy and thick. And it keeps really well. My mare is a mucky thing and has rips in all her rugs but these ones seem really strong and so she hasn't managed to damage them too badly. I really recommend them, plus they look nice :)

- Handwoven rugs are not meant to be vacuumed as they are very delicate, vacuuming only tears up the fibers and eventually they will break down and the rug will just fall apart it is always best just to shake out the rug outside this is the best way to clean Good Luck !

- Using a sharp blade like a wallpaper cutter or a box cutter, cut the carpet into small strips by cutting from one end of the room across to the other and them across the other side of the room until you have small squares for easy disposal. Then pull up the carpet and the foam backing and be careful when you get clost to the wall because of the tacking at the edge close to the wall on the cement flooring or wood flooring. Remove the carpet taking with a crowbar like tool that had an edge like the claw of a hammer to remove the tacking and the nails. You must remove the taking nails or grind them down to a smooth surface before trying to attempt installing any type of other flooring

- Mainly depends on where you use, and if it is the bottom of tea or bedside, it can be considered the application, so that for you some tea sets, water glass is good. Reduce the possibility of breaking. I don't recommend it if you want to use it in a big way, because that sort of cleaning is very difficult to clean up and easy to vacuum.

- Yes its a softer fiber. Softer than your standard nylon carpet. But the drawback is that the fibers don t stand up as well as nylon and defiantly won t last as long as wool.
