- Sorry to tell yo uthat the stains are most likely permanent. Seagrass, by nature is a porous fiber. Hence the stains have penetrated the fibers in the rug, and have become inherent, just as a dye would. Your best chance would be to completely redye the rug. It may be cheaper however to buy another, and keep Puss N Boots in the other room.
- Q:I just moved into a 1st floor/basement apartment. Its currently has tile floors wich are nice but are extremely cold to walk on in the winter. I was thinking about putting carpet down until I stumbled across carpet tiles in home depot. Since im renting I dont want to damage the current ceramic tile floor, should I lay down regular carpet or use carpet tiles? I don't care about grout lines and i dont want anything glued to the floor. It doesnt need to be the best job I will more then likely do it myself. If I lay regular carpet do I need padding? - Before you buy anything.....ask your manager/landlord FIRST. If they are ceramic floors - then YOU can NOT glue anything to them. You will probably only be able to buy area rugs.

- I've never heard of it. It could be that this is the pattern name and not the manufacturer - you may try confirming at the store. Many designers/retailers don't want to give the names of what they are selling, since they don't want to be price-shopped either locally or online. Also, some carpets have several names, even though the manufacturer and the carpet are exactly the same! Larger stores have carpets under private label, but they may be the same as a dozen other carpets on the market. The manufacturers to this to create exclusivity for their dealers. It makes it hard as a consumer, but this is the reality.
