FAQ

I wonder if there is fibreglass in it.It is easily scraped off, but creates dust from particles.I could remove it myself, but am wary of the dangers it might pose to lungs. There are no windows to the classroom. A student told me that it exacerbates his asthma. The schoolboard solution is to cover it up with a hanging tiledceiling. Is that reasonable? No money in education for removal, unless dangerous. Do I have any reason for concern?
I would research it with the health dept. because it could have hazardous chemicals in it. just think they used lead based paint until I think 1978?
What is the best sound insulation effect?
Sound-absorbing cotton and foam can be. Not so complicated
The house is a brick house, the kind of red brick house in the past, the wall looks quite thick, but still no noise at night neighbors next night to sleep, his family moved to hear the sound of things, often insomnia , And neighbors greeted, but inevitably there are voices, depressed dead, I sleep light, ask no sound to sleep, to death ... ... my family and his home are wooden floor, I do not know this sound Where did you wear the wall or the floor?
It is recommended that you add a fiberglass sound-absorbing ceiling - solid plate This board is often used in some low ceiling of the room, play the role of sound insulation, can replace the plaster board decoration, can block upstairs caused by noise, elegant appearance, Set decoration and function in one, serve two purposes. Using high-density glass fiber board, the surface composite paste made of decorative felt, the back does not handle, four to do the edge of this plate four sides straight, into a right angle, edge bevel. Suggestions can come here to see, I was using the material here, and feel very comfortable now ~
The wall is a good brush or paste the wallpaper good ah that is more environmentally friendly if the brush which is also what brand of good paint
Generally used for interior paint painting can be divided into: polyvinyl alcohol water glass paint. 803 interior wall paint, perchlorethylene interior paint, polyvinyl acetate latex paint interior paint, EPBR interior latex paint, styrene-acrylic latex interior paint.
Moved into a new home several months ago and noticed that the seams in the ceiling connecting the drywall can actually be seen in one room. Is this a common problem?? and what can be done. Do I have any recourse??
it happens when the drywaller has a bad finisher. They should have applied compund to the seams to make it look seamless in the end. You can do this yourself or hire someone to do it. When you are done the compound work, you , of course, will have to re-paint.
Hi Y/A, I have to repair some old ugly seams that have been patched badly, painted over twice and are now cracking as well, you know, where rooms are divided at the ceiling? What's the best way to clean those up without knocking them out and doing it <right> over? I have one, fairly long one..5 ft.
it extremely is why you notice a super sort of ceilings with popcorn texture. The acoustic texture hides the failings. confident ceilings are greater solid reason you're working over head. you need to use a 12 vast knife on the seams. The topping compound could be a minimum of 12 or greater inches huge. this would feather out the seam. a superb dry wall-er would desire to try this authentic away and he does no longer cost you plenty. Spend some greater dollars and hire out, you already did the complicated area. good good fortune.
What is the use of sisal?
At present, the fiber composite composites were prepared by blending sisal fiber and glass fiber with phenolic resin, and the mechanical properties such as bending strength, flexural modulus, no notched impact strength, electrical properties and water immersion property were found. Positive mixing effect, low water absorption performance, no significant impact on electrical performance. Is a new industrial composite materials, high strength, wear resistance, comprehensive performance is better.
I am doing some minor remodeling on a house. I wanted texture on the walls but didn't want to deal with the mess (and expertise required) of spray texture, so I'm creating a custom texture on the walls by hand using lite joint compound and a 12" taping knife. My question is: what do I do on the ceilings? Can I do the same thing on the walls, or will I kill my back (especially if it needs sanding). I've heard of people wrapping a small piece of plywood in plastic and using it to apply joint compound to the ceiling such that it creates little stalactites that you knock down after they have hardened slightly. That sounds difficult to get uniform across the entire ceiling. What should I do?
i would say look it up on a website maybe HGTV
