- Q: In sims bustin out people are always saying in order to get married you need a love rug. I look at everything in buy/build mode. Do you have to unlock? Can someone please tell me where to find the love rug?
- You do not need to buy a rug in order to get married. There is a bear skin rug in buy mode / decorative that you can relax on and make-out. To get married in Bust Out mode, you just need to be in good relationship and in love with someone from the Tootie or Frootie household. Then you can just ask them to marry you. If they are hungry, need to pee, etc. they may refuse. If you are in Freeplay mode, 2 adult sims already in the same household cannot get married, but you can ask sims in a different house to marry you if there are 3 or fewer sims in the household already. Freeplay has a 4 sims per house limit.
- Q: We have off white carpet (which is now brown and stained) that is 10 years old. We have two toddlers (more to come) and 3 dogs. The dogs come in from outside right onto the carpet. I am looking for a flooring solution that will meet our needs. I expect our future holds many more carpet stains so I am looking into carpet tiles for our family room. I know, not pretty but functional. What do you all think? Are there some higher quality carpet tiles whereby our family room won't look like cheap office carpet? We don't want tile and we do not want laminate as we need soft floor for dogs and kids. Real hardwood would be nice but price prohibitive. Please let me know if you have any experience with carpet tile and what your general outlook on carpet tile/squares is. - You need to rip up the old carpet to make sure the floor beneath is in good shape. Then lay the carpet tiles on the padding (in good shape) to ensure a smooth floor.

- i think you may be talking about a jewel toned rug. jewel tone colors are bright, deep, and saturated, jewel tones in red, blue, purple, green and yellow can add graphic punch to any room. go to the target website and search for jewel tone rugs. they have a pic of one. hope this helps!

- I wash mine .... I just put it on hand wash and fold them in half.... and dry on low or air .... and continue to check on em until they are just about dry!

I do know i can get it online a carpet that is specially made for my car but they cost like 100- 150 buck. Does anyone know if i can get carpet material in home depot if so what kind should i get. - house carpet will work. just take your old carpet out but watch you don,t tear it, lay it over the house carpet and cut around it. try checking with the carpet stores. sometimes they have remnants you can get pretty cheap.

- Carpet tiles are much better than people think, you see them in lots of public places. You just lay them down and join them up. You can get carpet glue to spray on the back of each one. They don't even need to be the same colour, you can create a pattern ect. Also, if you were to spill a drink, and it stained the carpet, you can replace the tile/s that are ruined.

- The carpet backer adhesive is made of Latex, excessive use of water and steam can damage that adhesive- but normal use of carpet clean will not harm it. Latex is water soluble -
