CDL/CDLF is a kind of vertical nonself priming multistage centrifugal pump, which is driven by a standard electric motor.
The motor output shaft directly connects with the pump shaft through a coupling.
The pressureresistant cylinder and flow passage components are fixed between pump head and inand outlet section with tiebar bolts. The inlet and outlet are located at the pump bottom at the same plane.
This kind of pump can be equipped with an intelligent protector to effectively prevent it from dry-running, out-of-phase and overload.

CDL type is applicable to conveying non-corrosive liquid, While CDLF is suitable for slightly corrosive liquid.

- drain radiator. remove both 21mm motor mount bolts from subframe (front and rear). drain radiator. remove overflow/washer bottle. remove drive belt. remove 8mm bolt that hold lower watertube to front cover. remove lower water tube from water pump. remove heater hoses from water pump. slightly lift engine with floor jack. remove water pump pully. remove water pump. if you still cant get it you will need to remove the 4 studs that go through the water pump. now its just that easy to do

First of all, Africa is not a country, its a continent and there are 53 countries in it. 2nd, Pakistan is not a piss poor country like most of the poor African countries you see daily on TV. Pakistan is a developing country with no shortage of water. In fact, just a few months ago about 30 million people were effected by the worst floods in the country's history. They don't need no water pumps. Worlds 5th and 6th Largest Dams, Mangla Dam and Tarbela Dam are in Pakistan. Not to mention Tarbela is also the world's largest earth-filled dam. Another one, Diamer Bhasha Dam (under construction) when completed would be the worlds highest Roller Compacted Concrete Dam in the world with height of 272 meters, leaving behind Miel I in Colombia (188 meters). Not to mention, Pakistan has the largest irrigation system in the world. So in short Pakistan certainty doesn't need any water pumps donations lol. Whatever water pumps they may need for any purpose, they are perfectly capable of manufacturing themselves. The country made nukes on their own for God sakes! You seem like a good kid though, so if you want to do something for poor people, concentrate on Africa and India. - Nope, could be a bad heater hose that burst. Could be an engine gasket but it will be more issues. I am more inclined if is like you described towards the back of the engine, is the water hose for the heater or the valve that controls the flow.

- Q:My 1998 Dodge Dakota V6 heater only gets warm, I have replaced the thermostat. I have back flushed the heater core. The heater hose coming from near the thermostat gets hot, but the hose coming from the heater core going to the water pump only gets warm. The large hose coming from the thermostat is hot near the engine, but is only warm near the radiator. Is the water pump bad? If I open the radiator cap there is no signs of circulation. - If okorder has printable online manuals for most repairs but if you aren't mechanically inclined and have little experience I would advise you to take it to a mechanic and have it fixed properly. Depending on the vehicle most water pump replacement cost between 2 and 3 hundred at a garage. The timing chain cover never needs to be removed to change a water pump.
- Q:1997 Caravelle 1900BR3.0L HO Volvo PentaSX Cobra OutdriveI have a small leak coming from my raw water pump, it is not a continuous stream just a drop every now and then. - Usual answer is to look for the flats of the gland on the shaft on tighten up with a spanner,as this will compress the packing a bit more. A small drip is not very bad but you are right to check.
- Q:How long would it take before I would see water coming out of the exhaust bellow? I let it run for about 5 seconds or so and shut it of fearing it would burn up. - If you are raw water cooled it can take up to 3 minutes for the thermostat to open, and a little mist to start coming out. You should not run the engine out of the water, or without a flush attachment.

- Remove the water pump cover, Now you will see the impeller and it has a little 10 mm(I think) nut fitting on it. Put the bike in gear and apply the rear brake. Now unscrew the impeller with a socket wrench. Take it easy as they are quite soft. Once that is off, you should be able to pry the seal out, and pop a new one in. A good way to get old seals out is to use a screw, screw it in to the seal then grab it with the pliers. You might want to replace the oil seal while you are there since they are so cheap. To do this though you will have to remove the rh crank case cover cause this seal sits in the inside of this cover. This is also an easy job. When you remove the rh crank case cover ( with impeller already removed) the water pump shaft should just slide out from the inside and give you easy access to both seals.

- sounds like not only did it come in contact withe wiring but also with the pump,when your working with electricity you need to be very careful and have the right tools to do the job with. to start this job you need a multi testing meter,this will let you check things like amp,volts,ohms,you know things that comes in contact with the pump and wiring,you didn't say what the voltage is on this pump,so first i'd find out what that is and make sure you have that going to the pump,then if so make sure the pump isn't froze or locked up,next go to the breaker box and locate the breaker for the pump,and test to see how many amps the pump is pulling when turned on.then find out if there is anything restricting the pump from doing its job,it may be something as simple as a run capacitor or even a shorted or burnt wire,but first make sure you have the correct voltage and amperage going to and coming out of the motor,once you get that taken care of you may need to prime the pump in order to get it pumping again
