ISG series single stage single suction vertical centrifugal pump is a high-efficient,energy-saving product successfully designed by means of adopting the property data of IS model centrifugal pump and the unique merits of vertical pump and strictly in accordance with ISO2858 world standard and the latest national standard JB/T53058-93 and an ideal product to replace IS horizontal pump, DL model pump and other ordinary pumps.

Features of Vertical Pipeline Centrifugal Pump ISG Series
1. Easy to mount. Because the inlet and outlet is located on the same central line, the pump can be directly mounted on any part of the pipeline just as a valve. Covered with a rain-proof cap, it can be operated outdoors. 
2. Impeller mounted directly on the long axis of the motor, pump and motor bearing arrangement is reasonable, pump operation can effectively balance the radial and axial loads, thus ensuring the smooth operation of the pump, small vibration and low noise. 
3. Mechanical shaft seal, use of imported titanium alloy seal ring, medium and high temperature mechanical seal with carbide materials, anti-wearing no leakage.

Sure, why not? Usually, the metal area when most water pumps are bolted too are cleaned with a scraper of some kind and old gasket matter is removed. That surface should be cleaned, flat, and free of irregularity. Most mechanics, if they use any kind of stickum - like contact cement from a tube, or the costlier, but not-needed specialty sealers, is applied to the pump surface so the gasket stays put and not move when installing the bolts. The glue does not do any actual sealing, just the fiber gasket will. None needs to be applied to the engine side that you scraped clean. Make sense to you? It's probably a good idea to service the cooling system with a non-caustic flush cleaner before hand -since all the coolant will come out during the change. Then add a additive that neutralizes acids with the new anti-freeze.

The neeedle is not the water pump. It is the temper of the water. If it go to the red you stop driving the car and turn off the engine. Most like the T-stat stuck close and did not open up to cool the engine. It takes up to five minutes to over heat the engine and the steam to build up and blow a hose apart. If you had to add water because of a leak. Should had it check out. Or the temper gage was going pass half way. It a water leak or a bad T-stat. Is not something you want to put off. Icould be the water pump you head pop if it had a metal sound. The car cannot be drove unless you want to burn up the engine It needs to be tow to a Shop for skill mechanices to check it out.

It depends on the type of pump.Some pumps can others will burn out. Carpet cleaner type suction will happily cope with both air and water,old fashioned hand operated lift pumps do as well. Bilge pumps etc do not like running dry and will have to be reprimed to suck water if the get an air lock.

your koi pond should be in direct sunlight not in a shaded area. Also, just a water pump is used for fountains and waterfalls. this allows dissolved oxygen to enter the water since Koi and goldfish needs lots. Usually a pump is attached to a filter when it comes to ponds, however there are pumps and filters that are stand alone. If you have a large pond, I would suggest a biofilter box with a pump. usually they will have attachments for additions of fountains and waterfall hoses. A stand alone pump will not FILTER the water it will just add dissolved oxygen

No it isn't hard to fix, first loosen the little bolts on the water pump pulley, then take the belt off, then unbolt the water pump and take pulley off old pump, clean off old seal from block, put on new seal, you may have to use gasket maker or silicone, install new pump, and bolt pulley on to new pump, then reinstall belt. Oh I forgot you will have to drain the antifreeze before you start, and refill it after you are done! Start the car and let it warm up and look for leaks, if you see a leak you didn't get it sealed properly and will have to repeat the sealing process and antifreeze. Takes an hour or so to do!
