- Q:In sims bustin out people are always saying in order to get married you need a love rug. I look at everything in buy/build mode. Do you have to unlock? Can someone please tell me where to find the love rug?
- You do not need to buy a rug in order to get married. There is a bear skin rug in buy mode / decorative that you can relax on and make-out. To get married in Bust Out mode, you just need to be in good relationship and in love with someone from the Tootie or Frootie household. Then you can just ask them to marry you. If they are hungry, need to pee, etc. they may refuse. If you are in Freeplay mode, 2 adult sims already in the same household cannot get married, but you can ask sims in a different house to marry you if there are 3 or fewer sims in the household already. Freeplay has a 4 sims per house limit.

- Here are a couple ideas, try them each as they are probably all stuff you have readily available to you! 1. While wearing rubber gloves, wipe the rug and see the hair form little rolls you can then pull off easily. 2. Dampen a sponge and wipe the rug gently and again, see the hair form little rolls you can pick off. 3. Using a used dryer sheet, wipe the rug and pull off the clumps of hair that accumulate. - you could rent a rug doctor and clean the carpets. They usually rent for about $25-$30 and then you just buy the soap to go in it. My parents always add a little ammonia to the water too so it helps bring out the stains.

- Ideally, you need a sub-floor for carpet tiles. If you have hardwoods, you can ruin them with carpet tiles. Otherwise, I have carpet tiles in my attic, which is my kids bedrooms. I went with that style intentionally because they love anime and we went with an Asian decor. Here is where I also admit that the builders put in a sub-floor for us and gave us the carpet tiles for free...lol I love them. One of my husbands friends is a very handy person and helps with all the DIY, so he helped to lay them. There are no seams and I think they are perfect. Carpet companies usually have some carpet that they will sell for cheap. We had them lay a plaid carpet in our basement because it was good quality, but wasn't selling because its plaid. I love it. Its off white with navy and black lines. Perfect for our exercise room, my sewing room.and under the pool table. Made us get blue felt for the pool table and I think it's beautiful. Check with them.

- Do you have any spare carpet from when they installed the carpet? You can cut a small section out and match it to the spare carpet, then use carpet tape to reapply it. Or you could cut a small piece out of the back of a closet and use it to patch. It would be a lot easier to just put a nice throw rug over the burn mark though.

- Google for the nearest one. In terms of the prayer mat/rug, it's not mandatory to pray on them but if you want one you might have to buy one but you can use a clean bath towel in lieu of a prayer mat if you want to which is what i did. I've used a clean unused plain white towel.

- Try some powdered borax. Sprinkle on a small section of the carpet first and try covering with a towel for a few minutes to stop any chance of the cat licking it (will make him very sick). Then vacuum it up properly. If this isnt something you want to try just get a bucket of warm water and some eucalyptyus oil in it...very little. Get a large sponge and soak it in the water then wring it out so its damp. Rub in one direction over the carpet - this should bring the hair together into a moist clump that can be vacuumed up easily.
- Q:I purchased an expensive dyed wool rug over 3 years ago. Since the day it was brought home it has had a strong musty type smell. We figured it would eventually go away... 3 years later and 3 homes later, the smell is still there. Any knowledge of why and how to rid the rug of the odor?
- the thing is that wool and dye do have distinctive smells, that until you have had them cleaned at least once do not go away Black denim (not much different lol) smells horrible until it has been thru the wash a few times because of the dye, get it professionaly cleaned and hopefully the smell will go good luck
