ZQB/HQB pump can be used for farmland irrigation and drainage, industrial and mining dock, urban construction, drainage of power station. ZQB submersible axial flow pump is suitable for the occasion of low head and large flow, and HQB submersible mixed flow pump is of high efficiency and perfect cavitation performance, suitable for the occasions of large fluctuation of water level and high head. The transmission medium is the water or other liquid similar to the water on physical and chemical property, the max temperature of transmitted liquid is 40℃.
- Q: What is the function of open circulating water pump and shutdown in thermal power plant?
- Open pump and closed pump, circulating water pump seems to be the full name of the pump, the industrial pump is to provide industrial water. Both open and closed pumps provide cooling water on the side of the machine, just because the requirements for water quality are different. Closed water is desalted water, while open water is recycled water.
- Q: Had my car in to the shop this morning, it's a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2. The water pump and radiator need to be replaced, and they said they can do it for $380. Is this a reasonable price? Also, if I don't get them fixed right away, am I risking a lot of permanent damage to the engine?
- yeah,,,if they are including labor YES. its a lot of work replacing the water pump....why does it need to be replaced? if your car was over heating then yes.. if you dont replace those parts..you can blow your engine...only if you been having overheating problems,,,and water pumps some times make a bird sound or cricket sound not exaclty but similar..it could make those sounds when the pump is going bad,,,...if the car doesnt have many miles...the pump might not be bad..the radiator is easy to replace.
- Q: I just bought a house and we have well water. When I went out to change the filter on the pump I noticed a valve leaking...I went to check on it and noticed it had two settings if you will. one says System and the other says by pass if I move the lever to system the leak stops, if I move it back to bypass the leak continues...question is which one should I have it set on and what is the purpose?
- Okay, Adam, we also have a well and just put in a new one. The setting that says System means that the water is running through the filter. The setting that says by pass means that the water is NOT running through the filter. You will have water either way in your house (or you should). It is just either, it is running through the filter, or it is not. I hope I have helped. gram
- Q: i replace all the seals on the water pump reinstalled it and the same thing happened... it leaks out the bottom some where and run down the water pump and down the hot side radiator hose... any ideas?
- look up the torque spec's in either a hayne's/chilton's manual, or online to see if you have it tightened correctly, and using some high-temp RTV on both sides of the gasket before you install it should help. most auto part stores have torque wrenches to rent for a day. Also, there may be a certain order you have to tighten the bolts down.
- Q: Does anyone know or can show me a picture of the location of the water pump in the '97 Totota avalon please? I'm trying to replace mine. Please and Thank you :)
- Front of engine block, behind fan and driven usually by the crankshaft.
- Q: I have a Miniworks EX Water filter with a ceramic filtering element. It has been used a few times without problem, but I am wondering at what point should I replace my ceramic filter? The replacements are $40 and I can't find any information regarding replacement times--only cleaning information. Does this filter need to be replaced often?I've always pumped from a clear river way up in the mountains and the flow is decent.
- If the sparkling out is new, or notwithstanding if it somewhat is been wiped sparkling with cleansing soap, the sparkling out will pump out foamy soapy water. in simple terms maintain to pump water by it until eventually at last it somewhat is flowing sparkling and sparkling. shouldn't take greater effective than 15 pumps grant or take a pair of.
- Q: I will be replacing my timing belt soon. The dealer is suggesting that I also replace the water pump. Is that really necessary? When do water pumps normally go out?
- Nearly all engines with timing belt driven water pumps sholuld have BOTH replaced along with new rollers at certain intervals. It is an ACCEPTED from of preventative maintenance. ON many engines, the TIMING belt prevents valve damage, and the water pump bearings are used as another roller in the timing event. YOu are ALWQAYS better of by replacing ALL things involved, and by usingg ONLY the factory parts or factory timing betl KIT. ALso you should use ONLY the factory coolant type, as it will prevent further cooling system degradation over time. There is NO such thing as a universal coolant. WHAT KIND OF CAR IS THIS?? year, make, model and country of origin?
- Q: I am replacing the water pump and want to know exactly where the two o-rings go
- There are several rubber seals on a water pump. The biggest irregular shaped seal is obviously for the main portion of the pump (this can not be misinterpreted for something else). The next in size is the o-ring for the thermostat. And 2 additional O-rings (one smaller than the other) are for the return pipes. While removing/pulling out the pump, take care that the pipes do not get pulled outward by the pump. And when putting in the pump just gingerly align the pipes to the holes in the pump and you are good to go.
- Q: This is a brand new water pump and we used plenty of gasket maker. Does this year of f150 need the back plate that comes on the water pump?
- I doubt it. It's almost certainly the gasket.
- Q: Well I know the water pump is leaking and its leaking fast. So I put water in the coolant reservoir and when I drive it acts fine but then when I stop and idle the coolant tank starts too over flow and spits the water out everywhere. Car still being at reg temperature the coolant reservoir is steaming/smoking? I can't tell which. But there doesn't seem to be water in the oil??? What's going on? If the water pump is replaced will this stop?
- Hi... There could be two problems here. First ,the thermostat is stuck open, second, a blown head gasket. Compression leaks out to the cooling system, increasing pressure ... So ,no it won't correct the situation.
