- well the storage device cables are called SCSI (Small Computers System Interface) and those power cables don have any special names,,, The power output from smps comprises of four wires.. +12v -12v +5v and -5v

- Q:Hey,I left my PS3 in the living room, and I think the dog peed up it. Stupid place to leave it, I know. Anyway, I brought it back upstairs, hooked it up but when I went to plug the power cable in, there was a real loud buzzing sound coming from the PS3, right where the cable goes in. When I unplug it from the PS3, it stops. I tried leaving it to dry, and making sure there was no moisture present inside the machine, but I tried hooking it up again and got an electric shock up my arm from it.Should I buy a new cable, leave it to dry, or is there something inherently wrong with the PS3 now?Thanks :)
- Ive never come across this before. Maybe its because i don't no anyone who has a dog which has peed up there PS3. I would suggest you dont get a other cable because that one might break aswell due to water getting in your ps3. If i was you i would contact Playstation or the store you got it from for more advice. Like i say im not sure and i dont think many people will come across this problem.
- Q:I'm installing a new hard drive and I need an extra power cable. Thing is, I've only got one in my computer (15 pin SATA) I have a spare SATA port for the data, so that's not a problem. Anyone know of any multipliers or some way i can add an extra power cable?Thanks in advance
- you are able to split the capacity cable with a a million--to--2 capacity connection. yet you are able to't split an information cable (the flat pink one). you choose yet another cable and a 2d connection on the MB. If no 2d connection, you may get a SATA card to flow in a PCI slot. Have performed the two between the above.

- A 4core (electrical) cable of that strength is usually built up from quarter circle shaped sectional wires. (Think of a pizza cut into four even pieces.) So, calculate the outside diameter from this point and add 4 times the insulator thickness. Example: 400V 4core cable has very likely 1mm insulator thickness. 150mm? * 4 cores is 600mm? total. By A=PI*d'*d'/4, d' being the diameter without insulator, would be d'=2*sqrt(A/PI)=600mm?/3.1415...=2*sqrt(...? Now, as said above, add the 4 insulator layers, and then you would be at approx. 31.7mm outside diameter.
- Q:So my aunt gave me an old NES, but all she had was the system itself and a few games. She didn't have any of the wires. Luckily I found this retro game store near me and bought a few cables that I thought was all I needed (The power cable so it would actually turn on and the audio video cord) but apparently I need something else? I'm not quite sure.....Does my NES just not work? The red light comes on when ever I press the power button but there is no picture on the screen! Is there something I'm missing? Did I put something in wrong??? There is another spot in the back for another wire but I don't know what it is. Any help would be awesome.
- you would need to tune it in put it on a channel and do a channel search that's what we had to do before hdmi and scart cables
