3) What is the difference of Wilton Carpet and Axminster carpet
Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.
- Q:so funny story haha. i was at softball practice last night at an indoor facility. The ground is made of an astroturf- carpet type material. the drill was to practice sliding on a piece of cardboard. i however slid a bit too early and skinned my thigh on the carpet/astroturf stuff.Now i have a giant burn thing about the size of my fist on my right thigh. It oozes constantly (which is extremely gross!) Last night i slept with it uncovered hoping it would dry up a bit, but it didn't. i taped a piece of medical gauze over it today for school, but it oozed right through! Also, when i went to take it off, the gauze was stuck right to it, and i had to yank it off hard, and it hurt soooo badd. i really don't want to have to do it again! Can someone please tell me how to make the pain go away (it burns!), make it dry up, and stop oozing? I've skinned myself before, but this is the worst one i've ever had.

- Used them many times and they are very reasonably priced. If you aren't moving your furniture (which we didn't) make sure they put everything up on blocks so as not to stain the carpets until they dry. It's a normal procedure for them but they can mess up and your wood or fabric that touches the wet carpet will stain it. When they are done your carpets should only be damp and not wet to the touch. If they are wet don't let them leave until the carpets are only damp. Stanley Steemer is a franchise operation so not all franchises are great. I use them for a whole house cleaning but use my own steam cleaner much more often. I have saved a lot of money by owning my own steam cleaning machine which is a Bissell. I can keep up on carpet cleaning routinely as opposed to waiting until the carpets are in dire need. I would recommend after you use Stanley to buy your own cleaner.
- Q:The rug is 6' x 8'
- Try Duct or masking tape...not to stick it to the floor but turn it over....attach the duct tape to the outer edge of the under rug and pull it back until it curves just a wee bit. Not an extreme curve just a little....run the tape back a foot or two and flip it back over...maybe the pressure of the tape pulling will keep the corners from lifting. Good Luck!

- Q:You know how bathroom rugs frequently have rubber backing on them? I was to know if there is a way to reapply the rubber backing which has fallen off and cracked due to age. The top of the rug is fine.
- If you can t get the rubber backing to hold I have a suggestion.. Take it off completely and get a rubberized anti slip backing you can get at any place that sells rugs etc.You can get them in many sizes and cut to size.. They won t stain vinyl flooring like some rubber backed rugs can.. When they lose their tackiness you wash them in washer GL

- Try getting a sample piece that matches from a store that sells discontinued samples (Lowe's or Home Depot). Sometimes you can find them at a place like Big Lots.
