Q: Which side of non-slip rug pad goes over wall-to-wall carpet?
opt for browns tans. Your first step is to colour tournament the carpet. you need to tournament the carpet so that you aren't getting browns that conflict with it. as an instance-some colors have a yellow base even as others have a blue base or a red base. in case your carpet is a yellow depending blue, like maximum denims, and also you placed it with a blue depending brown or tan you'd be very uncomfortable (we can't even imagine about the white partitions or your coloring the following because the carpeting is, i'm assuming, untouchable). Take the carpet colour (you need to attempt to get a reliable sized piece like a a million/4 backyard of fabric on your carpet colour tournament yet something can help-even a paint chip) with you once you save for furnature and accesories. fortuitously, till you're colour blind, you'll like the combination of colour, even if it truly is sweet, once you look at it in both keep lighting fixtures and sunlight (deliver it ot the window-heavily) attempt to get some upload-ons interior the same colour because the carpet so it feels like you planned the carpet. opt for easy colour or huge stripes for the better masculine look and step faraway from the football blanket!
Q: I'm in a 5 piece band playing in about a 20x20 room. 2 walls aren't covered with boxes and the floor is linoleum. It's really loud in there and we need to dampen the room to a bearable level. We were thinking about getting 3 or 4 rugs for said 2 walls and floor. But then we started considering acoustic foam. I'm sure acoustic foam is more effective than rugs, but since we're on a really tight budget, is it really worth it to spend twice as much on foam? Or will rugs suffice? Side question, if we get rugs, could we just get 2 and put them on the floor since i'm certain the linoleum is the main culprit, or do the walls probably need it to?
Since okorder / . You will see the eggcrate foam here also LOL
Q: Hi all i burnt the carpet and if our landlord see's it i am done for, is there anything i could do to make it look better, thanks
if you can cut the burnt part out.
Q: How to reuse the used carpet?
Put it outside the door and use as the foot pad
Q: I have a white fluffy rug, I assume its meant to represent sheepskin. I have no idea how to clean it! Know what Im talking about? Does anyone have any ideas?
stick it in a duvet cover tie a knot in the cover so the rug wont fall out. put it on a cool wool wash. when you take it out of the washer fluff up the fur with ur hand and a hairdryer gently then drape over a radiator to dry fluffy side facing up ! (when it comes out the washer it will look a raggy mess so you have got to fluff it up with the hairdryer.
Q: are house is getting new flooring and i was wondering wats better hard wood flooring or carpet?
Hardwood floors. I had a choice, hardwood floors or carpeting. Made the wrong choice and picked wall to wall carpeting. Too much work for me. Don't like to vacuuming, it's a pain in my butt. When my cat gets sick it's always on the carpeting even though tile is right there. I think she does this on purpose. I'm convinced she was out to get me. I finally said, ENOUGH! and had to admit once again I made the wrong choice. Ripped it all up and put down laminate. I love it. It's strong, doesn't scratch, easy to clean, especially with cat around. Give me a soft dust mop any day. Easy clean all the way around. Don't have real wood floors. Chose laminate because it's stronger and doesn't need to be sanded and redone. My opinion, my opinion only.

Q: my carpets are very dirty.
If the professional guarantees to get your carpets cleaned, it might be wroth it. It has been my experience, that they come in and go over the room once, and that's all you get. They do spot treat stains. We do it our selves, and we can keep going until the used water is not black, more of a khaki color. I know I have removed mos of the dirt when the water is just a little discolored and doesn't have actual dirt in it. Carpets are filthy, and collect everything that walks int he door. I also have a family member who uses a power wheel chair, and that thing isn't clean either. Mats at the door ill collect most of the dirt that comes in, but they are slippery for W/c's so I can't use them. :-( I use Bissell's carpet shampoo, as it has removed things that Rug Doctor shampoo missed, and I thought were permanent stains.
Q: I am having such a hard time finding a rug for my small studio apartment! I have white walls, an off-white/very light creme colored modern leather couch, a glass coffee table (smart coffee table-cb2) and a dark wood tv console. I just purchased a small dining table which is basically next to my tv console and it is also dark wood. I wanted to keep the entire room light but after an impulsive buy, I realize that the dining table definitely darked the room by a lot. Would using a white area rug clash with the off-white couch? I was also thinking of a light taupe colored rug that I think might match better but I want a color as light as possible. Would white be bad, aside from difficulties in maintenance?Last question, in a small room, would a dark wood tv console, dark wood dining table and a dark wood entryway console table be too much dark wood? Thanks a lot!
I would use a tan or a sand color rug. If you use white, I do think it would clash even though your walls are white. Actually, it would drown the room with that much white and cause your dark table to stand out even more. A tan or sand color rug would help to 'marry' the couch, walls and wood together because it's a combination of all the other colors in your room. You could also possibly by some darker brown throw pillows which would then marry your couch with your dark wood and still go with the sandy color rug. Don't buy just plain brown pillows though as they wouldn't really add much excitement to the room. Get something with brown stripes or another design you like. You'll be surprised at how everything will go to gether while still keeping that 'light' feeling you want in your room. I love to decorate and after thinking about your question, the sandy rug or light tan rug just sounds like it would work the best. Good luck on your decorating adventure. I hope I helped in some way.
Q: How to deal if shampoo is poured on the carpeton the back of the carpet how to deal with! ! !
Get some water on the carpet, then use a brush to brush, then use clean and unused old clothes or old towel which absorbs water well to spread on it. next reuse water to scrub the carpet, then dry, and repeat several times is no problem
