There are 2 harnesses There is 1 that plugs into the back of the radio, and one that plugs into the vehicle harness that is connected to the harness that comes out of the deck. Technically speaking, everything will plug in. Just need to wire the harness that is vehicle specific into the back of the new deck. Its easy!

Thats a hard project, but you can use the factory harness from the camaro for engine management or use an aftermarket ecu ontroller for the engine, which will be harder to find and very pricy.

Q:All the installation pdf's I've looked at for trailer wiring harnesses for the '02 Sierra refer to a pre-wired plug that is behind the bumper on the driver's side. Well, that plug isn't on mine. Was this plug an option when new?

well i know you have looked but it could be taped up above the bumper on the frame harness and you have to have a pigtail to plug into it. just a suggestion. good luck
