FAQ of Double Suction Vertical/Horizontal Split Casing Pump

1. Are your pumps cheaper than those of your competitors?

CNBM aims to give its customers the highest standards of quality and service and delivery times, all at a reasonable price.

2. Do you have self-priming pumps?

Yes, our product portfolio also includes two ranges of self-priming pumps: self-priming electric pumps and self-priming side channel pumps.

3. Is it really necessary to fit a bleed valve for the boxes?

It is always best to have a bleed valve as the gas produced by the fermenting sewage is potentially hazardous.

4. If I increase the power of the motor, must I also increase the power of the inverter?

You must select the size of converter that allows maximum absorption of the electric motor.

Q: I am trying to areting my pond but air pump cost too much. I have an extra water pump available if I make two intake opening, one for water the other for air, would it work? or will it blow up the pump and kill all of my koi because it is made for pump water.
Here's is several reasons why it is bad idea to pump air with water-pump. There are differences in design of an air-pump and a water-pump due to a simple fact that air is compressible, and water is not. Water pumps are very poor at pumping air, so if the intake tube is not filled with water the pump won't be able to suck hard enough to bring it in. You can very easily damage your water pump, if you run it dry (meaning just pumping air), because without the resistance of the water, the motor turns too fast and also many pump designs rely on the water for its own cooling or lubrication. Pumps can temporarily work with some small air bubbles in them, as long as water is still flowing. This happens when running new-installed pump for the first time and it is normal unless it lasts for more than a minute or two. But even this small bubbles cause micro-strokes on shaft and bearings, shown through excess vibrations and audible gurgling or growling. In a long-terms, this causes so-called material fatigue and shortens the lifetime of a water-pump.
Q: The actual way to move water (liquid) from a pond with small bits of debris. Trying to find out which system is the most efficient: vane, impeller, rotary, centrifugal...etc...either by hand or using a bicycle to turn the pump. I do NOT want to use an engine or electric motor. I've read about the transfer pumps in the hardware store are only about 50% efficient, I need something better that will provide me a continuous output. Something lightweight that will handle pressure. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!
Solar water pumps have been in mass production since 1983 and are in use in thousands of locations around the world. Pumps that are designed to be powered by solar energy are far more efficient than an equivalent AC powered pump. There are many types of pumps and systems available for pumping from deep wells, shallow wells, ponds and streams. :)
Q: Ac was working fine before the mechanic replaced the water pump. Now the AC only blows hot air. Is this related?
TELL US WHAT CAR AND WHAT ENGINE IT HAS !!! There all not the same. But since I'm here, I'll give you the bigger picture. MOST water pumps are buried under the front of the engine. That means to replace them you have to get the belts and other accessories out of the way. A bracket from the a/c compressor might have to be removed to get to your water pump. That shouldn't cause a problem. The first thing I'd do is see if the guy unplugged the a/c compressor pulley. It's just a few wires that connect to the compressor clutch. If unplugged you get hot air, and no a/c'. Find your a/c compressor and see if the plug is connected and not damaged. He didn't reset your a/c settings to heat, did he ? I'm sure you checked that first. He would do that to make sure the cooling system was full, after he finished the job. The A/C is not part of your engines cooling system so it wasn't drained as part of the pump job.
Q: I've always wondered how a water pump moves water through a pipe. A fan moves air by spinning a propeller-like set of blades, but does a water pump work the same way? Or is there some other kind of mechanism inside the pump that draws water from one place and pushes it to another?
There are different types of pumps. The type most commonly used to pump water is the centrifugal pump, which operates pretty much the same way an air fan propels air. Additionally, a centrifugal water pump uses a volute or chamber that surrounds the impellor or the blades to direct the flow of the water, converting the flow energy that it imparts to the water into pressure energy.
Q: I tried using my water line with a pressure tank and pressure switch but without a pressure tank I observed that when he pressure reaches 30 psi the motor pump switches off automatically and when we open the faucets to use water the pressure switch turns on again the motor pump.
All that will do is cause your pump to burn out sooner. It will run WAY more often without a tank. The tank allows for a 'range' in your pressure, in other words, the pump will fill the tank to 30 psi, but will not kick on again until the tank gets below a certain level, say 20 psi, at which point it will pump it back to 30 and cut off again. Without a tank, the pump will run whenever you draw water.
Q: I have a 1 HP water pump that will pump water through a 1 and 1/2hose. What is the approx. GPM (just to have a reference) of a pump like this?
Assuming the pump will produce about 50 psi of pressure and has an effiicienty of about 80% then the pump would pump about 25 to 30 gpm. I am assuming this is a centrifugal pump and if that is the case there are several varialbles that enter into the estimate. Take a look at the link below and you will see this is not a simple question to answer with any accuracy.
Q: leaking coolant after the car engine has stoppped
if your water pump is leaking fluid -its bad period- it should never leak unless installed incorrectly--signs for bad pump are-noise-grab fan blade wiggle if shaft moves-bad pump-open cap on radiator-no water moving-bad pump-bad pump--
Q: I have a '97 Chevy S-10 2.2 with 208K miles. Today on the way to work the heat cut out suddenly.I have had an issue with my engine where the temp will go up and down while on the highway but maxes out at like 215. Today after the heat cut out it was getting up near the redline before going back down to 150.I made sure the coolant was good before coming home but on the way home it was doing the same thing. I changed the thermostat but it's still doing the same thing. When I rev the engine I can see the upper radiator hose collapsing so it seems like there's a clog somewhere but I don't know how to find it. I guess it could be the water pump but then what is causing the suction on the upper radiator hose?Anyone have any ideas?
doesnt sound like water pump you may have lost a heater core thats what it sounds like to me its getting vacuum and temp is jumping but you dont have heat sounds like it to me check that next but as with the other selection check if your thermostat is in wrong
Q: My dads needs a new water pump for his '83 Silverado v8, anyone have a DIY or a schematic or know of where I can find one? Maybe someone could tell me how. He's pretty handy with cars just doesn't know what needs to come off and in what order. -Thanks in advance!
I just just put a new water pump on my 2000 silverado. You do not have to take the radiator out, just be careful not to ''poke'' any holes in it.
Q: I was wondering if the noise from a water pump can bother my crested gecko. I have a water pump that cycles the water that is in the leca balls, it does not make a load noise but the noise is there. Will this bother him?
Cresteds can drown, so is this one of those water fountain dishes? Make sure it's safe. If it is just a filter sound it may not hurt them, but I would be more afraid of them getting inside of something. Cresteds only need humidity hikes once or twice a day, if it is too wet and humid all the time, they develop respiratory illness.
