- Q:I just accidentally put diesel fuel in the hydraulic oil reservoir of an excavator. Most of it drained out from the top because it was over flowing. That's how i noticed. If I could guess there is less than one gallon of diesel in there and it is a pretty big excavator so it has a big hydraulic tank. Just wondering if the pressure will cause the diesel to combust. It's a rental an I only need it for another hour or 2. Thanks
- When compressed, diesel fuel explodes.
- Q:Didn't really know how to word the question. Anyway I want to have the mini excavator delivered to my house and picked up as I don't have a big truck w a trailer.Where I want to dig is about a mile down the road and about 200m from there into some woods on land that I own. The terrain is pretty smooth but its a normal wood floor with lots of sticks leaves etc and can get a little bit hillyWhat I want to know is will I be able to straight up drive the excavator from my driveway to that location and back, or will that be too rough of a drive? And how fast do they drive?Side question, do they come with models with attached headlights as my work may carry into the darkThank you very much
- They are tracked so will have no difficulty with the terrain you mention. They go along at a fast walking pace. If this is your first time in one, ask the firm who are renting it for a hour lesson on it when it is delivered.
- Q:How do I get my basement to stop flooding?
- BEFORE YOU SPEND ANY MONEY - be sure rainwater does not pond adjacent to your foundation and your rain gutter downspouts dump their water well away from your foundation.
- Q:I recently lost my vision in one eye (permanently) due to lack of maintenance (on there end) on equipment that I rented. I rented a excavator from a rental company and shortly after using it part of the machinery (the tooth from the bucket) flew off and hit me in the eye permanently blinding me. Also there was no windshield on this to pull down for protection. Is there a legal case to this? The piece that hit me was approx. 3quot; wide x 6quot; long x 2quot; thick of solid steel, hitting me at approx. 30-40 mph and almost knocking me out. I'm not talking about a little piece of metal that would bounce off of safety glasses. The metal of course did not actually go into my eye but rather hit me so hard it smashed my eyeball flat. Also, we found out later that the bolts holding the tooth on were not the ones made for this excavator, were not the right size and were not hardened bolts. They should not have been used period.
- You will probably have no problem at all finding an attorney to take the case on a contingency basis. You don't pay them anything unless they win the lawsuit at which time they get 30% of the award. Just phone some injury attorneys and ask. The fact that you signed a waiver is meaningless. Waivers usually aren't worth the paper they're printed on. The fact that you weren't wearing safety glasses might reduce the award or might not matter at all if there is evidence that wearing them wouldn't have avoided the injury.
- Q:Which school has the strongest excavator technique in China?
- The Shandong Lanxiang Vocational School of course!
- Q:Introduction of excavator
- Excavator, also called excavating machinery, is a kind of earthmoving machine that uses bucket to excavate material that is higher than or lower than the machine surface and is loaded into transportation vehicle or unloaded to the stacker. Excavators are mainly made of soil, coal, sediment, and soil and rocks that have been pre - loosened. From the development of engineering machinery in recent years, the development of excavator is relatively fast, excavator has become one of the most important construction machinery in engineering construction. The three most important parameters of excavator are operation weight (quality), engine power and bucket bucket capacity.
- Q:What does LC mean after the Komatsu excavator model?
- The letter "L" has many "excavator" models with the word "L", which refers to the "longer type crawler". The purpose is to increase the contact area between the track and the ground, which is generally used for the construction of soft working conditions on the ground L. The letter LC LC is a more common symbols in all brands have excavator, excavator LC styles, such as PC200LC-8, DX300LC-7, Komatsu Doosan Yuchai YC230LC-8, Kobelco SK350LC-8 and so on. The "LC" here means that the model uses widened longer track, the purpose of the same is to increase the contact area with the ground, generally used in the construction of soft ground conditions. The letter H in construction machinery Hitachi excavator type, often can see similar to the "ZX360H-3" type of identification, the "H" said heavy, generally used in the mining condition. In the Hitachi construction machinery products, H uses a rotary platform and increase the strength of the lower part of body to walk, and some standard rock bucket work device. The letter K letter "K" also appeared in the Hitachi construction machinery excavator product models, such as "ZX210K-3" and "ZX330K-3", "K" here said the demolition of type K excavator equipped with helmet and front protection device to prevent falling debris falling into the cab, and a lower running protection device to prevent the metal into the track.
- Q:Can you explain the negligence in this situation:Company X hires contractors to build a new building. They do not the “call before you dig” regulation, which provides:Before commencing or engaging in any . . . excavation . . . each excavator shall provide notice [by phone] of the location and date of the planned excavation. Its purpose is to give the government time to mark gas/electric lines. When digging the contracting company hits a gas pipe the contractor flies and hits one of my employees who breaks his leg. My employee sues the contracting company ... will he win because of the negligence of the contractor to follow protocol?
- violation of a safety standard or procedure may be evidence of negligence, among other factors, provided the standard or rule was put in place to protect this type of victim from this type of harm. For instance, a fire lane outside a store is for emergency access by fire equipment. If you park in the fire lane and someone crashes into you, the fact that it's a fire land has NOTHING to do with either driver's negligence because there is no fire emergency and no fire apparatus involved.
- Q:Does any one know if an Australian LE excavator license is accepted in Norway?
- I would assume that it will be accepted, but you have to apply to have it vetted by the Norwegian authorities. I have provided some links that might be of some help. According to the Accreditation Authorities this is the process for your profession: Excavator operator (Gravemaskinf?rer) Application process You must send your application with a copy of your driving licence to Arbeidstilsynet Oslo, by letter, e-mail or fax. You must supply a translation of your driving licence if it is issued in a language other than English or one of the Nordic languages. In the application you must state the postal address of the person who will receive the letter of authorisation (preferably your employer). For more info see the link below.
- Q:I work as an architectural draftsman for an architectural firm. I currently have an associated degree in drafting and design and am planning on getting a bachelors in construction engineeing technology. Would this degree be helpful in the archiectural field or should I pursue something else? (I do not have the option of getting an architecure degree)
- may I suggest a job in grave yard as a real-estate excavator. If you have been working in the field and don't already know. it is obvious that you should be doing some thing else like digging graves or ditches. after all I am sure that you are waisting perfectly good natural resources in your current position How does it feel to know that your only contribution to this world is waisting AIR and Global warming
