Q:I have a big dirt pile just sitting behind my fence on my property. We plan on knocking the fence down and re-building it so the dirt pile needs to go as its in our way. The dirt pile came from a ditch that was built next to my house months ago and the workers just left the dirt that was dug up on my property. I have been calling and calling the company to come clean up their mess and they never return my phone calls so now I have to get rid of it myself but how? My husband tried shoveling it and spreading it out but that is way to much work as the pile is big and rock hard from sitting for so long. I have also called equipment rental places to rent a bulldozer or excavator and push it all out but they are way to expensive (we are on a budget). What's a cost friendly way to get rid of unwanted dirt piles?
Go to one of the big box hardware stores that usually has guys waiting around to do day work and hire several of them to shovel that pile out smooth. If you really want the dirt gone hire a small dumpster and have the guys shovel the dirt into that and have it picked up.
Q:I have large boulders of granite rock. I found out granite is impenetrable what can I do to use this rock?
get an excavator operator and possibly a mason to help you... this will not be cheap
Q:I' have read from the website below that it is possible to convert the diesel engine of cars, jeeps/jeepneys, and trucks to double tank system so that they may run on both diesel fuel and filtered used vegetable oil.
Of course they can, the only difference is the size of the engines, all functions are identical.
Q:here's what they look like, it's the most bad *** machine ever to exist
Hi: It's quite a impressive machine. and your right about putting that full size machine in your yard and what the city will do to you for doing it. However you can make a scale model of it but you will need the plans or the blueprint for it , or you got lots of picture of it, It might be possible for you to construct a Non working model of it first off the bat is How big is your dresser and How far it from the ceiling, this done so you can set your scale for it. I would try writting to the company that built it and tell them that you want to make a scale model of it and if they can send you the blueprint for it seeing how it not in operation anymore. Hopely they will send you a reply saying it okay. Start writting to be the Russian Embassy to get more info on this.
Q:I have two mechanics working on two Isuzu E120 engine (one spare) to be fitted onto Hitachi EX400 excavator. Here's the problem, both of them gave me two different firing order.Mechanic A: 1-5-6-3-2-4Mechanic B: 1-4-2-6-3-5I think i just realized something ... instead of clockwise, can it turn anti clockwise? because the engine is designed to go anticlockwise the numbers would make sense now.
If it's a 3.1 or 3.2 V6, order should be 123456, where #1 is 1st cylinder on the left when standing in front of engine.
Q:Since ore grades continue to get lower and lower it would seem that we will never run out of metals in the foreseeable future. Is this because mining methods are more efficient and economical?
In a gross historical sense, minimum grade for economic mining operations has decreased because of improved efficiency in the collection and treatment of the ore materials. Over the short term (say the past decade about), the rise in metal prices has made many marginal (often lower grade) deposits worthwhile to mine, meaning that even though the grade is low, there is still enough metal that can be recovered for less than they will earn from selling it. I do not think there is much gain in efficiency and effectiveness of collection and recovery that will be obtained into the future. Most of the technological developments that produce large improvements in efficiency and effectiveness have already been instituted (the industry is mature). The main driving force for making low grade ores recoverable comes from increase in product value these days, rather than in reduction of costs of production.
Q:I have dreams about bridges. Somebody tried to transport a excavator across a stone bridge in my dream and the bridge collapsed. I need to learn to dream walk to put it back together. It is VERY important to the safety of the United States. It has something to do with the plates of Joseph Smith so any shamans who can show me how to dream walk would be appreciated, thank you.
sure! I enjoy that always. And the goals which come actual, are most likely dreamt years in the past, and normally while i used to be wakeful. It would even be recommendation, that did not make experience on the time. Like, as soon as, I used to be sitting in a automobile and it got here to my brain Remember that during Bades?en(a pool neighborhood, do not pass there most likely) if you are sitting at THIS factor, there is 2 approaches to return there. You will pick the incorrect. two years later, I went to the pool, having forgotten approximately the dream. And I needed to uncover my household once more, however I could not. Then I remembered, I'd selected the incorrect approach. Really creepy.
Q:I know there is a lot of cleanup going on in TX and I was wondering if anyone knew how to get in touch with any ligit companies to inquire about employment. I would like to know of any jobs but I am especially interested in machine operators, bulldozers, excavators etc....
Where do you live? do you run the equipment??
Q:Im doing a project on mercury a 5 page essay to be exact and i need loads of information on mercury. Specifically How is it obtained and processed from the earth, Where is it found, What is it like in its pure state, I also need to list qualitative and quantitative descriptions, state uses of the metal, are there toxic qualities associated with this metal, what is the cost per pound or ounce of it.
The last mercury mine in the US, McDermitt Mine in Nevada closed in 1991. It was an open cut mine using trucks and an excavator to mine a vein of quartz that contained the mercury mineral cinnabar. - mercury sulfide. Cinnabar is a red mineral, usually earthy in appearance but can form red crystals. The USGS reports that red cinnabar can still be seen in rocks in the waste pile at the mine. Cinnabar is the most common mineral for primary mercury production. Underground mines in China also mine cinnabar. The process used at McDermitt was to roast the ore in a stream of air. The cinnabar reacted with oxygen to produce sulfur dioxide and mercury vapor. The mercury vapor was condensed from the air stream. Mercury is produced as a by product of electrowinning of copper. The mercury collects together with other metals as a sludge at the bottom of the electrowinning tanks. One of the biggest produces of by-product mercury is the Yanacocha Gold Mine in Peru. Mercury occurs along with the gold. Yannacocha is a large surface mine using electric shovels and trucks. The process at Yanacocha is to treat the ore with cyanide solution, which dissolves both the gold and the mercury. Both gold and mercury are precipitated on carbon , from where there are again redissolved with cyanide and then precipitated with zinc powder. The loaded zinc is the smelted to recover the gold and mercury. The mercury is vaporised in the smelter and recovered by the pollution control equipment. The price of mercury has been hovering around $600 for a 76 lb flask. Use of mercury is declining and is down to about 2000 tons per year. Much of this is provided by recycling. The use of florescent lights for energy saving may increase consumption. Mercury is very hazardous. The links give more information.
Q:I have WTB Dual Duty FR 26 rims and was wondering if these tires would fit
Sean You want to get tires that say roughly the same thing on the side as your existing tires. So if it says 26 x 1.375, then you could put on 26 x 1.25 to about 26 x 1.50 with no problems. If you go lots wider or lots thinner it may not work, That is when you take it into the local bike shop and have them advise you. The width of the tire minimum to maximum is based upon the actual wheel's width. Happy new year! Soccerref
