- Your hair dye stain is permanent. You can see if you can patch in a piece in the area. Do you have a piece of matching carpet? or a mat of the same? If not does the same carpet run into any closets? Can you steal a piece somewhere where it won't be noticed? If so call in a carpet installer to patch in a piece where stained. If not can you hide the stain with an area rug or runner? Good luck!
