I have a black trench coat and I want to dye it purple, like the jokers, do you know how I can do that? plz help!!!
If your coat is made of synthetic fibers (acrylic, polyester), there is no way to change the color. If your coat is made of natural fibers (cotton, linen, rayon, wool), it is possible that you can bleach the black dye partly, then use RIT dye from the drugstore to dye it purple. Bleaching it will weaken the fabric, and ruin any waterproofing that it may currently have. To bleach a natural-fiber cloth, use a large bucket or a stopped-up sink in an area that is well-ventilated. With gloves on, use about one part non-colorsafe bleach to ten parts water. Mix up the liquid before you add the (DRY) cloth. Wait about half an hour, then put the cloth into the washing machine by itself and run it through a cycle with detergent. Dry the cloth, then follow the directions on the RIT box to dye.
My jacket has both the Do not Wash and Do not Dry clean symbols. How am I supposed to clean it?
I've bought 14 used bikes over the years. The first thing I look for is, was it stored indoors? I wouldn't touch a bike that has been stored outdoors in the rain and sun. Ages them very quickly. Ruins all the vinyl and plastic first then oxodises the paint, get's into the gas tank, rusts the chrome, breaks down the electronics. Do whatever it takes to park indoors. At the very least get a good cover.
I don‘t know were to get it or the name of the right fiber glass i need.
Fiberglass is glass fiber cloth with polyester or epoxy resin filling and coating it. You want a woven roving or weave and the resin to apply to it. You can go to any boating store or look one up. It is not easy to work with and boats are made in a smooth mold with colored resin applied first, then layers of resins saturated cloth. If you do not use a mold a tremendous amount of sanding is needed so that is looks acceptable. Wood is very fine for speakers, easy to work with and make changes. It is also less expensive, cleaner, and can be stained, painted, or cloth covered. It will also sound better.
when making cloth pads can you use just regualt fleece?
It take about 1.5 hours to do and the axle cost about 150 plus an alignment (if they do it right) so your quote is pretty good.If you find someone with car smarts it can be done cheaper but with no alignment. Its not that hard a job to done if you know about cars. Good luck hope I helped
I used a cloth sleeping bag before and always slept in it with clothes on. At my friends house, all she had to provide me to sleep in was a sleeping bag made of polyester inside and outshe said I had to sleep in it totally naked due to its material. I did so and was very warm and comfortable. But are they really meant to be slept in this way?
It's inside of your sleeping bag. You sleep in your birthday suit or with pj. I usually sleep with shorts satin pj, and short sleeves matching top, while we're inside our sailboat, only because it's cold when we get up. Sometimes, I have nothing on, because of hot flashes. Depends what season it is. Mine was lined with flannel, so it's more warmer. If it is borrowed, I wouldn't want to go naked, it's just me.
Need to know how these fiber affect health.
If it is cloth fabric, you can light a match to it, if it has black smoke coming from it and balls into little pieces and drops of in chunks, then it is made from crude oil. fake fur, polyester, etc. If the fabric is wool, then you will smell the sheep or animal that it came from. Silk smells like worms, Cotton smells like the cotton plant or wood. All materials smell like the original origin that they derived from when a match is set to them. Do not use a lighter as you will distort the smell and it will smell like the fuel from the lighter. Make sure you have an ash try or safety pan underneath, because different fabrics burn at different rates and have very good ventilation. You will know which are toxic and which aren't when you have done the test. Please be careful as some materials are very flammable and toxic.
Is there anyone who knows about the glass fiber coating?
Glass fibre is a product of the highest level of DIY in the product, the film hardness is relatively high, the duration can reach more than 12 months; but also closely related to the construction environment and construction environment, seriously affected the quality of construction
