- Q:Rather than step into his litter box, that stays clean because I know how picky cats are, he'll crap on my bathroom rugs with his litter box not a foot away from him. Is it a territorial thing? Would he stop if I bought new rugs? I'd have already thrown his butt outside, but he's declawed. I hate having to keep my bathroom rugs folded over all the time because of the little stinker.
- Remove the rugs for now, possibly you can put them back when he's using the box again but chances are he won't like using the tile floor. Then after a while you can probably replace them -either clean them *real* well or buy new ones, for if he can still smell the stink he'll be more likely go back to the rug! Is the declawing recent? Even if it is not, check his paws. Quite a few declawed cats stop using the box because it hurts them. Even if it has healed at first, sometimes even years later they'll get a regrowth or such that can be bothering him if he steps in the litterbox. Other stresses may cause a cat to act up too; did you bring in a new cat? Has your own schedule changed a lot?
- Q:himy apartment already has carpet, but it looks kinda ratty, so i bought an area rug.....it keeps bunching up in the same spot though.....is there any adhesive i could buy that works on carpet?
- There is several types and sizes of matts that you put under area rugs. These will help stop the rugs from scooching. But you must get the type for rugs over carpets. So know your rug size and get one that will fit. You can trim to size with scissors. You don t want an adhesive, it will ruin any carpet. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
- Q:I am planning to rent rug doctor to clean my apt.but afraid whether its so noisy
- My father has worked for Rug Doctor over 20 years, and therefore we own one. It's a little loud, but I don't think it is that much louder than any other vacuum. My brother borrowed it once to clean his, and he had no complaints from neighbors. It works pretty good too... and I am not just saying that because I am associated with the company either, lol.
- Q:I can't seem to find a bamboo rug that is larger than 10x8. I need to know if there's anywhere that I can custom order a larger bamboo rug closer to 11x15.Please help!!!
- Bamboo rugs over 8 x 10 just are not available. I have sold rugs for 20 years and they just are not made larger than 8' in the smaller size. Try looking at sisal or similar material. They have the same natural feeling.
- Q:we have narrow living room in which we put a sectional. we are unable to place the area rug. any suggestions?
- Put the couch over approximately 1/4 of the rug, then place your coffee table over the area rug. You'll still get the maximum look, even if you are in the minimum amount of space.
- Q:I bought a kitchen rug from Jcpenny's last year some time and it is dirty now and doesn't look nice, so I was wondering how often do you have to replace kitchen rugs?
- if it doesn't look nice, then u must go n buy new one. go ahead.
- Q:Is there a way to bleach my carpet? Not to get a stain out or anything. But my carpet is a bache color, and I would like to make it white.Would putting bleach on it make it brighter?
- It would make it a lighter color for sure, but the shade probably won't be very consistent. Think blue jeans that have had bleach splashed on them. You also wouldn't be able to use your house until it aired out with the windows open for a few days.
- Q:I bought my son one but i don't know if its okay for him to drive it over on the carpet.
- Yes, it is alright to drive an R/C car carpet floors, just make sure the carpet isn't too long to get tied into the wheels. its a pain in the butt to get the carpet out of the wheels or unwrapped from the drive shaft because it is wrapped so tight
- Q:nan
- It's better to use a towl!
- Q:If my room is 18x19 feet and the carpet cost is $27.77 per square yard and the installation coat is $ 175.00 . How much would it cost to install the carpet ??????
- If its a straight rectangle of 18x19. Carpet comes in 12 and sometimes 15ft widths ( figures are based on 12 goods), you ll need at least a pc of carpet 12x31 12x31 =372 s/f . And doing it the way you figured (s/y which isn t the way the law says to do it) Its 41.33 s/ys There are a few variables such as pattern matches , if any and such but thats a basic layout. 12x31= 372 372 divided by 9 is 41.33 s/y 41.33 x27.77=1147.73 1147.73 +175.00= $1322.73 Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar.
