Q: I wanted to put in a aftermarket dual exhaust to give it some thunder! Only problem is I have limited knowledge on this stuff. I wanted a stainless steel system that gave moderate noise level ( Do not need to wake the neighbors ) and was looking for a good brand with a reasonable price. I also was looking to add on later some 18 inch chrome rims with new tires and maybe a 2 inch lift.
What is going on? You have possibly fried the computer by allowing that extra current in. Nice.
Q: Want to car (such as horse 6) tail exhaust pipe thick, like to listen to roar, the price to how much
3000 pieces of Taiwan produced.
Q: If so which one would you reccomendI drive 44 miles a day on the thruway from to school and back
It might help a little, but it would need to be a full cat-back system, which for your car could get expensive. Generally a good intake filter like a KN is the best bang-for-your-buck. After that would be a cold air intake, as they help efficientcy a little more. Then, after either of those, if you still wanted to see more improvement I'd look into exhausts. I have a cold air, iridium spark plugs, and a cat-back exhuast on my Tuscani GTV6 wich is rated at 18-21mpg. I now get about 25mpg If I drive conservatively. *** PS you car has nothing to do with dual exhaust as it is either a inline 4 or VR6 motor. dual exhaust or true duals is a term used to describe two seperate exhaust paths coming from two seperate exhaust manifolds and is mainly just for bragging rights, as the performance increase over a standard system is little to nil. Every motor VW has ever put in any Jetta has only had one exhaust manifold so the concept doens't apply to your car anyway. Just thought I'd clear that up. PSS Snaglefritz answer below me is entirely accurate for his application, but there is a couple things that may be missleading. Primarily it is correct to say that a performance exhaust system will indeed allow you to burn more fuel, increaseing power and decreaseing economy. The difference is that it is a dirt bike, and is ridden at wide-open-throttle (racing) just about all the time. Secondly, it doesn't have an ECM to control fuel delivery. As he stated it uses a carb, which is a mechanical device that uses jets to determine fuel flow. In your Jetta however, the ECM computer can calculate that, thanks to your free flowing intake and exhaust, it can provide the same cruising speed (like your commute to school) while doing less work (delivering less fuel) as it has to work less to suck the air in and to expell it out. ) But yes, if you floor it you will go faster and use more fuel )
Q: I‘m looking for a exhaust, but I WANT A EXHAUST THAT IS DEEP AND LOUAD IDLE. I don‘t want a high pitch exhaust. Any tips or personal exhaust u guys have installed?
I own an 88 rx7 full race exhaust headers are Mazdatrix 2.5 then cat-back is 3 corksport. The bigger it is The louder. I spit flames and have set off car alarms. But after taking out the sound deadening its really loud for daily driving. But its straight through no cat single tip. A dual exhaust will be lower pitch, slightly quieter, and more expensive. I wouldn't recommend a 3 unless ur gonna add a turbo down the road. The stainless 304 polished from corksport is awesome. Easy to clean and fit perfect with no fab. Go on forums read reviews, look up videos for sound. With the rx8 I would do the same setup I have but 2.5 exhaust. Personally I like the high pitch but It's preference thing. Don't worry about any back pressure things ppl say. Rotarys don't have exhaust valves to over heat so it doesn't matter. If u worry about emissions or legal exhaust get a catylitic converter high flow. If not get the test pipe to replacing it. My exhaust cost $800 new and self installed on a Saturday. Make sure u get new gaskets too. Love ur rotary and be proud to have one.
Q: just wanna make my truck sound dope but liek how can i do it to my exhaust or what do i need to buy
I would invest in a Magnaflow, Glasspack, or Flow master depending on the exact sound you want. Depending on engine size and cylinders Flow master work good on GM models, Magnaflow on Ford and GM and Glasspacks sound great on anything Dodges best though. Also look into the size of exhaust tubes you use. If your truck is diesel though go will bully dog or banks for the exhaust, also go with a six or eight inch, and do stacks they will sound the best.
Q: I‘m have a G35 sedan in I want to put hks exhaust tips instead of the whole system will I still get race car sound from just the exhaust tips
The exhaust tips are exactly what they sound like they are simply tips of the exhaust after the muffler, they don't really produce any extra sound or change in sound unless they are angled in a certain direction, nor will you get any extra horsepower or performance gains. You really need a whole free flowing exhaust system for maximum performance and sound gains, but you could just put different muffler on with the exhaust tip pointed downward to deepen the sound a bit along with a louder exhaust due to a freer flowing exhaust.
Q: My ex-girl friend purchased an exhaust system for my 2002 Toyota Celica (not knowing what she was buying of course lol) the system did not come with the mid pipe that connects to the headers so you cant even tell that that I have an exhaust system on my car. If I remove the Catalytic Converter on the car will it make it sound nice? Im looking for a good street/tuner sound. Or what should I do? Should I just buy a whole new exhaust system?
Wouldn't hurt axles but there are other possible complications
Q: I currently have flowmaster dual exhaust on my 2004 v6 mustang, its nothing special, but you can here a little bit of a difference from the stock version. I definitely want to upgrade with louder ones, and I‘ve been researching. I‘m mostly seeing this:mac longtubesx or h pipe?flowmaster 40 seriesis this a good combo? just not sure what is the best to geti don‘t know anything about exhaust systems. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
Go with the flowmaster and custom pipeing from the cat. It would sound fierce. Maybe a 3 to 3 1/2 Diameter pipe
Q: toyota celica 04 performance exhaust system help!!?
get a can of Marvel Mystery Oil. put some in the engine, ware the spark plugs are, some down the carb and with the fresh fuel. There will be some intense smog, but if the mill is alright it will all come back to normal, after while.
Q: Does the dishwasher have an exhaust system?
No, when the gas drained to the drain! There is no pressure.
