In Addition,we are also business in parts of Turbocharger such as:
- Q:i was thinking of buying an 89‘ caprice but the exhaust needs to be replaced from the manifold back. I was thinking how much it would cost to replace it and get dual exhaust.
- It'll run you a pretty penny. I'd look into a bolt on, and compare it w/your local mechanic/exhaust shop. Sometimes they can do it for cheaper from raw materials as opposed to a magnaflow bolt on setup. A cat back system for my g6 will cost $800 b4 install. Just for a bit of comparison. Depending on how bad the exhaust is, you might b able to repair certain portions of it to last you a while longer.
- Q:so I was told that if you have an exhaust system your car won‘t pass smog check is it true. How do people with exhaust system pass there smog checks
- Agree with what Gary and Nikolai said. A Faraday cage shields e-field noise. For h-field (magnetic) shielding you need a low reluctance shield; i.e., mu-metal.
- Q:Is it because the back pressure is out, How do i know what it should be.
- Yep: When you installed that straight pipe you destroyed the engineering and programming that the factory used to make Your car run it's best. And if you start messing with aftermarket stuff to try to make it better you will probably be wasting your money as well as making the performance worse. Have a factory exhaust put back on it. you'll be a LOT better off.
- Q:Will the catkins be troubled by the exhaust system of the car?
- Block the source --- reduce the window
- Q:Dodge Dakota Exhaust System?
- if were you id leave the cat and go with mufflers with shorter pipes on it, the shorter in length that you can make the pipes the louder and better it will sound, you can even go in front of the tires for the outlets on the pipes,id use thrush mufflers instead of a glass pack because those don't last long enough and when they burn out they pop back through the exhaust making the truck sound like its got a cheap exhaust system on it,and thrush mufflers are cheaper to buy than magnaflow ones are also,i got two on my dakota but it has av-8 in it and they sound real good and they don't pop back when you let off the gas either, the back pressure is what causes the popping back through the pipes, thrush mufflers wont do that, good luck.
- Q:I was driving home from work and my car started making an unbearable loud noise. I can feel the vibrations and it comes from the mid-section of the car. I have a 1993 honda civic lx 1.5l 5 spd. My entire exhaust system has failed. whats wrong with it?P.S. I‘m not crazy about honda civics. So please dont bash me for owning one.
- Don't Bash on you honda civic man Its one of the most reliable vehicles on the road. Your Car is 18 years old. after time there are things that need to be replaced or repaired There are a lot of people out there that would be really pleased that there car is still running after 18 years. take your car to a muffler shop and get them to fix your exhaust pipe. its no big deal.
- Q:I have a 2012 Dodge Challenger RT and have been wanting to modify it a bit so i thought a louder exhaust would do the trick. Problem is is that i dont know much about this area and need help deciding what to buy for the loudest and badest sound. Any suggestions?
- Go with a SLP exhaust. Look them up on youtube they have videos of their exhausts on Challengers. Sounds good.
- Q:I would like to make my exhaust system sound better on my mustang. I wish it was a GT but it isn‘t. It‘s a 97. I live in hawaii and there are little to no laws about exhaust systems I dont know much about exhausts.I would like a cheap job done and with decent results. So I‘m thinking. -Running Straight pipes.-Catback.-Take off resonator. There might be a better idea out there. I dont know much. Anyone can help give good advice?
- You will basically be paying ten bucks plus three bucks shipping for around 15 cents worth of metal. It's just cheap electroplating over copper or brass.
- Q:catalic is designed for minimizes the risk of exhaust gas
- Any Midas service station, should be able to put them on for ca $20
- Q:what exhaust system should i get for vw 1.8t jetta?
- Go with #4 bare copper if your service is under 200 amps and you ever decided to upgrade it you'll already have it covered. Hope this Helps
