Q:Im looking to get a new exhaust. I‘ve came to two choices. Yoshimura or Dr. D. Which exhaust system is better for my 2008 crf 450r?
yosh is the best you can get.
Q:I have a 2000 Eclipse GT with the V6 3.0L automatic with the kick over.I wanted to put some new headers and a new exhaust system on my car. I was wondering what would be the best parts for me, and if there are any other bolt ons to add some horsepower. THANKS for the infoAlso if I can get your email to ask you bout someother stuff id like to do
relies upon on whether or no longer to procure a fart cannon or no longer. if to procure a fart cannon it somewhat is greater advantageous than 2.5 in diameter you in all probability lost backpressure and in all probability lost some backpressure; no longer lots (with out changing the cat) yet sufficient to lose low end horsepower to a pair extent (in line with possibility 2hp). chilly air intake does no longer something because of the fact maximum production facility intakes are already chilly air intakes (pull air from the wheel wells), if it somewhat is a short ram or the intake pulls in air it somewhat is warmer than the air the production facility one pulled in, you will additionally lose horsepower (throughout the means band). you could nicely be pulling greater air yet whilst that's warmer the upward thrust in airflow won't somewhat count. If that's chillier and the flow is bigger you will get a modest bump up good (2-3 horsepower over 4-5k rpm). i recognize that seems contradictory means-band sensible in spite of the shown fact that it somewhat is what it somewhat is. it somewhat is why you could desire to recognize what you're doing till now you do it.
Q:why some vehicles have duel exhaust system? what could be the reason?
some vehicles have them for appearance purposes, some have them for performance reasons. A lot of it depends on how the system is built and the engine in the car. if the engine is an inline engine, meaning the cylinders are in 1 row, it usually has 1 exhaust manifold. thats what connects the engine to the exhaust system. on those engines its basically for appearance purposes, if the engine is a V engine, like a v6 or a v8, theres 2 rows of cylinders, and 2 exhaust manifolds. on those cars, a lot of people prefer to have each exhaust manifold have its own exhaust piping and muffler. sometimes even on those engines though, the systems arent true duals like i just described, and in those cases, its for appearance purposes. people like to look like their cars are fast sometimes.
Q:I own a 2003 Mitsubishi Pajero (Montero in US, Shogun in UK) It‘s a 3.8L V6 GLS and I want some more noise from my exhaust. I want more of a growl than a rubbish noise at lower revvs. I‘m planning to get rid of the muffler and install a straight pipe with new exhaust tips since it‘s much cheaper than getting a whole new exhaust system and I can‘t make holes in my muffler either. Any sugguestions and recommendations are welcome. Thanks!
if u want to stright pipe it then add in a new muffler. by removing the entire system u are increasing cabin nosie and it will get irritating after awhile bc u will be in the lower rpms and it will be ungodly loud and might pop every once in awhile also ure decel will be awful and sound more like ure accelerating,, id stright pipe it with 2 3/4 stainless pipe and run the flowmaster 40 series,, i have used them on a couple of applications and it gives a deep throughty sound and it wont have the very loud cabin noise or the very loud decel noises,,, but ure accel will be deep and mellow a bit higher pitched than the v8 but thats to be expected in any v6 with any exaust system. id also add in a clod air intake,, it will increase ure throttle response and give it a bit deeper sound
Q:I want to remove my entire exhaust system from my old CBR125R. Is it safe?
It is safe, so long as you reinstall it before using the bike. Running the bike without an exhaust system will cause lean enough running that you risk damaging the motor. It will also run VERY poorly, stumbling and hesitating very badly whenever you try to accelerate. The noise will also prompt your neighbors to shoot both you and your bike.
Q:what would be a good performance muffler that would give me a little more power and a nice sound? i don‘t want a cat back system because they‘re pretty expensive and it would be cheaper and easier for a performance muffler and should give me almost the same result. btw i have a 2003 Mitsubishi lancer es with a kn sri
Try ordering from APEXi. They shave some AMAZING exhaust systems jut for Lancers. Check out eBay if you want a cheap muffler for an ok sound too. Skunk2 is good too
Q:I have a 5.0L V8 1997 Mercury Mountaineer. I already got a KN FIPK Cold-Air Intake that worked WONDERS. Sometime in the future I would like to put a cat-back exhaust system on it. The catch is, there are tons of companies (edelbrock, gibson, magnaflow, flowmaster, dynomax, etc.) and I don‘t know a whole lot about cat-back exhaust systems. I‘m not looking for SOUND at all, I‘m looking for performance gains like I accomplished with installing the cold-air intake. I want a cat-back exhaust that is going to help my car function easier/better and therefore improve power and fuel economy and all that other good stuff. I‘m not concerned with how it looks or sounds, I‘m concerned with the health and performance of my car. Which company is the best for that in regards for my vehicle, or how could I figure it out on my own? Some of those companies don‘t even have something for my particular vehicle, but I know that they can pretty much finesse whatever you want. THANKS
Magnaflow usually has the best model coverage and they have a mellow muted tone, performance wise they're all pretty close. For longevity, pay the extra for the stainless steel system.
Q:Who created the exhaust system for the auto mobile?
Uh.you can't have a working engine without having some sort of exhaust system.so you're question should actually be Who invented the internal combustion engine?
Q:I have a 05.5 VW jetta 2.5L and i want to put a magna flow exhaust system on it. How hard is it to do this myself? And any idea how long it will take? I dont know all that much about cars but im thinking i can figure it out.
Its not hard at all. Its mainly bolt on bolt off which is the hardest part if u cant get it off. if you break the bolts u can always get new ones Good Luck
Q:I know nothing about cars, but I like the way that the cat back sounds, can I use this on almost any car?Maybe a 2008 Altima Coupeor a Nissan 250z
Was the exhaust designed for that car or are you having a custom setup fabricated? Almost any muffler shop SHOULD be able to bend up and weld a half way decent exhaust system. When you buy an 'exhaust system' they can be designed to specefically fit certain makes and models. One size DOES NOT fit all if this is the answer you need.
