Q:Want a custom exhaust system for my 2000 durango any ideas? I want a nice solid sound but not obnoxiously loud any better brands than others? looking to spend about 300 to 500 dollars. anyone own a durango or heard one with a custom exhaust if so does it sounds good sounds good?
I think you would just join the group and become the play thing of a muslim man. I'm not muslim, so I'm not sure about this, but I think that's how it goes. Please forgive my ignorance, I have a hard time believing that there are 72 consenting aged virgins in any given city, let alone 72 for any given man.
Q:whats a cat back system and whats the diff between that and a muffler. if they are both desighned to make it sound louder then why not just get the muffler??? its cheaper and makes the car look nicer
a cat back system is a complete system that goes from catalytic converter to wherever you want it to exit and a muffler is just that a muffler not an exhaust system
Q:I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 that rolledsomeone offered to buy the exhaust system and the ‘electronic brain‘, how much are these items worth used but in good condition, and is the electronic brain a legitimate term? Ive had two people tell me about it and I have never heard of it beforeThanks in advance
Well if I were you I wouldn't sell it. But returning to your question, I don't really know the price, but it is not cheap, that's all I know, but if you decided to sell it, and you want to keep your truck, you are going to have a lot of problems, if you dont want to, you should ask a proffesional, cuz, the price of the exhaust system can be lower if it is rusty or something. Good luck!
Q:would any1 reccommend this system?is it working well on ur setupI would be putting it on a Celica GTS 00‘
my buddy has a cobalt ss supercharged and he has a matrix type x exhaust on it and it is louder than most cars ive heard
Q:If there‘s ANY damage to the motorbike engine if you ride it without any exhaust system. And one-time-only vs long-run of doing that.I mean riding it without the exhaust system at all, not just the muffler/ silencer part.Thank you for any answer beforehand.
Its really not a good idea, you could do it if you absolutely had to but it is really something you should avoid, a short run may be ok, though it will not run properly and will have a severe decrease in power, any longer and as others have said it can cause serious problems, such as burn the valves out.
Q:I was thinking SLP Loudmouths 1 or SLP Loudmouths 2. I heard 1‘s are louder. I would also like to hear more about other systems like Flowmaster, Borla, etc. And also what is the loudest best performing system?
Yep tyre pressures vary from car to car. Best to follow the manufactures advice on standard road going tyres, performance ones are a different issue. Keeping them high makes stopping an issue as there is less friction with the ground. Keeping them low means you spend more in petrol.
Q:Is this a good exhaust system for my honda civic?
Remus, Mugen or Spoon. If you have the Type R or any honda don't bother the factory one is well tuned for performance you won't get anymore out of it. Someone spent money doing this on a Vti-R coupe they got extra 5hp with a full exhaust. Waste of $$ could have spent on engine.
Q:I‘m soon going to put an exhaust on my civic, I want a bit more power and a nice sound. What do you guys think of magnaflow, does it add a good amount of power?, does it sound nice?
How it sounds is up to you. It's a waste of money as far as providing any useful power increase. You'll never notice the few extra horsepower in everyday driving.
Q:Right now im thinking about getting a full Bassani SS Exhaust system [ Bassani SS Axle-back, Bassani SS Catalytic X-Pipe,and Bassani Longtube Headers], i got a quick glimpse on what the SS axle-back will sound like and i like it, but i might be looking for more does anybody have any idea what kind of exaust setup i should get? im looking for something with a deep aggressive sound to them something to get my blood pumping everytime i step on the gas and that will bring some attention to other ppl when i drive by?
i might just work, but r u going to keep puttin blocks of dry ice beside the intake everytime one block melts.but when it melts,u take the risk of it might sucking in water.but its a logical thinkinf tho.
Q:is there any simple way to fix it before it blows up the engine?
In all engine exhaust systems, moisture will condensate in the muffler and pipes as it cools down. As soon as the engine is started, exhaust temperature heats the moisture where white smoke trails the tail pipe or drips out the end. Your motor isn't going to blow up!
