- Q: Im looking to put on a new exhaust to my 06 GMC Canyon im looking at either the cherry bomb glasspack, cherry bomb vortex, or a flowmaster. honestly im kind of a dumbass when it comes to trucks and all those sorts of things so i want an experienced person to give me some advice on what i should purchase!!
- One system I like, its on my 95 Tahoe. Came out of catalytic converter with 3 pipe, to a 3 inlet on Flowmaster, back end of Flowmaster continued with 3 tail pipe all the rest of the way. Sounds really good, and half the price of dual exhaust system.
- Q: 1985 ford tempo GL 2.3Land actually it‘s not the whole thingi just got the car a couple months ago and obviously didn‘t look close enoughthe muffler and tailpipe are new, but the exhaust pipe is rusted out, i found this out when it broke off at the cat converter while i was driving and started dragging. also the tube that sticks out the side of the cat converter broke off the converter and is just hanging thereI‘m pretty sure i know the answer but can that be repaired/welded? if so, price?also regardless of the 1st question, how much would it be to replace the exhaust pipe and cat converter? taking it to a shop of course
- You may want to take a little more time for the places mentioned, Flrorence has too much to offer for just 2 days for sure. Other places I found of interest: Bologna, Siena. Umbria and Tuscany are also well worth a visit.

- Your quad also wouldn't run right. It needs a certain exhaust tract length to have an effective scavenging event to fill the combustion chamber. It also has to be under a certain sound level as that has been under EPA control for many years.

- Q: I have a 1995 Olds Eighty Eight that has some holes in the exhaust. Will a bad exhaust make the car sound like its a totally different car and not accelerate? It always ran good but now sounds terrible like a lot of sputtering and can‘t even be driven. I had a clamp put over a hole and it helped but only lasted a few hours and it is right back doing the same thing. How can I tell if my exhaust is the reason my car is running so bad?
- Your problem has been caused by electrolosys this is caused by copper pipe touching something metal such as metal hangers or a nail even find the root of the problem and just replace wht is leaking or weak. If you insist on changing all the pipe I would recommend CPVC it is inexpensive about 40 cents a foot for 1/2 inch maybe 75 for 3/4 and it is very easy to install. I use this on most of my jobs unless the homeowner requests copper

- most ricer exhausts are usually the ones that give power, and thats talking catbacks, not fart canns welded on its very hard to find a performance exhaust for a 4cyl, that sounds good on a commonly modified car, let alonet on a base sentra. take a look at borla good luck

- No. Generally the sound from exhaust (at least a catback) comes from the resonator (or lack thereof) not the muffler. In the case of a header it comes from the cat (or lack thereof). If you have a stock 4 cylinder (generally speaking) exhaust will sound horrid on your car. My recommendation is to replace the header/cat and not the cat back because it will sound and perform better.
