Q: im looking for a good exhaust system for my 96‘ honda civic sedan lx. i dont want to pay over $400 though.
A really good exhaust system is the Apexi WS2 because of its good shape and performance increase not to mention the really deep tone it has. Its not a ricey loudddd exhuast. Its quiet at everyday speeds and most tuner heads decide to go with it. Has a nice growl when you step on it. It really is good. If not that then the Buddy Club Rcing Spec Muffler Spec II. Its also as good as the other one. It has a small tip at the end kind of like stock and that might not do it for you but it really is good. This is in order of what i would reccomend from greater to least. They are all similar, you cant go wrong, its all about the sound, looks and where the performance kicks in(lower rpms/higher rpms). Also check out the RSR ExMag,Greddy SP2,Tanabe Super Medalion Hyper, Apexi N1, Greddy EVO 2, Skunk Mega power,HKS HI-Power,5gizen Fireball, ES tuning, Invidia N1, Greddy Racing TI-c, JIC Magic Bullet Spartan DE Type 1 SuS and the Tanabe Medallion Touring
Q: I have stock exhaust on my mustang. It sounds ok but I want a deeper and louder classic mustang sound. What is the best exhaust system for it?
No person can tell you the best exhaust system for it. Look up YouTube clips of exhaust systems for your model and pick the one YOU think sounds best. I personally like Borla and Magnaflow, even when they're both very popular brands. You may just want a muffler, like a Cherry Bomb.
Q: Looking at getting a new motorcycle and looking at the custom exhaust systems but i‘m not a metal worker so I don‘t know the difference between Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. Which is the better metal, what will last longer, what will break easy, what is cheaper to replace, how does it react to hot and cold weather, can it handle expansion to heat and shrinkage to cold, What is the lighter exhaust etc. I‘m not sure on all of the specifications of the metals I could just google it but I‘d rather hear it from someone with experience with these metals and exhausts. If I have missed anything MENTION IT!
Stainless Steel Motorcycle Exhaust
Q: What is the difference between the engine exhaust system and the SCR post-processing system?
Mainly used for oil engine exhaust emission standards
Q: I have a o/r exhaust. ( no cats ). needs a sticker. yea help? lol
Most people keep a stock catted midpipe on hand for their inspections and just change it out for the test. Then they put the offroad exhaust back on when they get home. Other people who do that, live in a city, municipality, etc. that doesn't do testing. Still others (like myself) live in an area that has drive through emissions test monitors that if you pass twice in a 6 month period before your test is due, you don't need a visual inspection.
Q: Dodge Dakota Exhaust System?
The glass packs may not be enough for back pressure, but with out a cat your exhaust will have a loud crackle sound. I did this with my dakota and the only looks I got was from state troopers pulling me over for a loud exhaust. I would leave the cat if it work fine and do a dual exhaust with the flowmaster muffler. Brand new magnaflow mufflers sell from 40 to 80, depending on the series. Or leave the cat on and put a stright pipe in place of the muffler sounds pretty badass.
Q: I own a 05 Acura RSX type S with a race header already installed. I plan on installing a supercharger kit that will produce over 310whp. I just need a list of parts for an exhaust system and size. I don‘t want it to be too Loud. Thanks.
Search in your local area for the specialist exhaust fabricators, and also consult the owners' club members in your area, to find what they have found to work. Consider also, that you can't have it all - you either have a silent exhaust, and lose a lot of power, or a free-flowing exhaust, with a glorious, bellowing animal tone. An over-silenced, small-tube system WILL cost you power, so decide what is more important to you.
Q: I was thinking about getting MAC catback exhaust system with MAC o/r H-pipe. I was watching videos of the exhaust system on youtube and they all sound loud, deep, bassy, and gurgly which i'm looking for. I looked up on Ebay and the exhaust systems are cheap! For the system is like 300 and for the o/r MAC h-pipe its about 160.So would you say that the MAC catback sounds good or you dont like it? I think it sounds better than flowmasters.
I have a Mac catback and O/R X pipe on my 04 GT.I like the sound or tone I get from this exhaust. Its a deep rumble, not to raspy idle.Several of my gearhead friends have complimented me on the tone of my exhaust.I went w/ the Mac because everyone who has a Mustang runs the Flows,I wanted something different. The Mac is less expensive than the Flows and they are a quality exhaust system.I paid around $300.00 for mine, when I installed it I was very pleased w/ the fit of the mufflers and bends of the pipes. It fit up very nicely under my GT,no rattles,no leaks,no nothing.Took about 2 hours to install the catback.Check out the X pipe, you'll get a much different sound over the H,you might like it better.Go w/ the Mac,I am very pleased w/ my exhaust,I'm sure you will too.Hope this helped.
Q: I was thinking SLP Loudmouths 1 or SLP Loudmouths 2. I heard 1‘s are louder. I would also like to hear more about other systems like Flowmaster, Borla, etc. And also what is the loudest best performing system?
I like the flowmaster 40, mine came with dual exhaust, and square tips. The exhaust was loud and had a nice clean metallic sound to it.
Q: Would you please know the telephone from OKorder Delphi Exhaust System Co., Ltd.?
The production line was bought by several big guys of the original Delphi to open a new company. Called gotech? Remember not clear
