FAQ
- CHANGEING EXHAUST
- The exhaust system has nothing to do with a BOV ( allows pressure in the intake, inner cooler to exhaust to the atmosphere), you need a turbo or supercharger to use a BOV so the answer is NO You can install a header and low restriction exhaust, but you will lose some low end torque, which this engine lacks to begin with. Unless you add a performance PCM you will gain little.
- looking for a exhaust system for a lancer GTS Mitsubishi that is not too loud any one has an idea or any sugestions?
- Cat-back exhaust system. Otherwise the stock is pretty good, just get a new cold air intake and you should definitely notice a sound change with the stock exhaust system.

- Usually it'll say on the tranny dipstick.
- My old Tengeng 2.0 every day to start the car and found a slight jitter, and lit the exhaust system fault lights, I would like to ask you will not be ternary catalytic bad

- Hi, I have a 1994 Buick Skylark Limited. The exhaust/Muffler/system hasn‘t been changed yet for the most part. Over the past 5 months, the car has been getting louder, and running worse. Some things that happen is that the Car‘s Idle is Real Rough and unstable, the car will randomly Stall, and the muffler is quite loud. It also takes around 3 seconds of holding the ignition turned to keep the car on. When I come to a stop or slow down near stop lights, it bogs. The car also has a hard time Accelerating now. Most of the time I use the car, it‘s short trips less than 10 miles. It sits outside, and it was a harsh winter. This problem has been getting worse over the last 5 or so months, and it‘s at the point where I need something looked at.Does this sound like a specific problem with the exhaust system, Do i need to change the whole system, or only one or 2 parts ?Thanks to who replies
- Try a complete tune-up, and have your catalytic converter checked, it may be clogged if the exhaust is that old.
