- Q: Okay so i had a question earlier about whether to put an exhaust on my 300c (3.5L). Now my other question is should i put a whole system on it? or just a muffler? Also which do you guys reccomendim looking for that nice mean and clean sound. i know my friend put one on his trailblazer ss, sometimes it sounds mean as hell and other times it sounds like the cars about to die out. thats not what i want. i want that mean sound, but not too too loudif you guys get what i mean lol. thank you.

- Q: I want to get a better sound out of my bike but I don‘t want to buy a jet kit or a high price muffler and intake system. My question; Can I just remove all the filler from my stock muffler to get a deeper tone? I keep reading that if I don‘t get a jet kit while increasing my exhaust flow that I could damage valves, but that doesn‘t seem plausible considering that everything I am reading says that having a more open exhaust increases EGT (Exhaust Gas Temp), but common sense would tell you that having a better air flow would cool it down right?? I‘m not looking for a performance upgrade because I‘m on a Hyosung GT250R and it‘s not like I‘ll get that much out of it. I just want a louder and little bit deeper tone, is that too much to ask without spending $800?
- NO IT WILL BURN UP THE MOTOR SOONER RATHER THAN LATER. BUY THE JET KIT, BUY THE PIPE, DO IT RIGHT ONCE. increasing exhaust gas temperature (INSIDE THE ENGINE) that is not where you want the heat YOUR ENGINE CANNOT TAKE THE HEAT, AND IS DESIGNED BY A ENGINEER TO RUN EXACTLY AS HE DESIGNED IT TO.UNDER THE CONDITIONS HE DESIGNED THE MOTORCYCLE FOR you have to understand, you may have great common sense but you do not have an engineering degree. I don't either but I do know that several friends of mine who want the perfect sound, but thought they could do it there way because they didn't want to pay the price.they tried drilling holes, steel wool and none of it worked for long anyway what is cheaper, a brand new motor and tranny AND that 800 dollar exhaust system ??? or just buying a jet kit and the right exhaust set up ??? and in any case I have a feeling you are going to upgrade to a bigger better bike sooner or later, look for one that has a muffler you like then. what do you think? good luck however it works out.!

- not as expensive as youd think uple hundred to have the exhaust custom bent,pluss mufflers and cat. your best bet would be the aftermarket with the old fartpipe though if money is an issue. a catback will replace anything after the cat, and should be bolt in unless noted.anything before the cat is gonna be bolt in usually.aftermarket cats can be expensive.if you want, install the before and after then have a muffler shop, or all around shop install a universal or high flow cat only, you doing the rest of the work.

- restricted flow of the exhaust gases lowers power. sometimes cars with a blocked catalitic converter have a hard time going up hill. A custom high preformance exhaust system would give more power than a stock exhaust because of the increase in flow.

- Full system means headers and exhaust. I don't think it will come with up and down pipe. Why don't you look at HKS's web site. Seems like you are interested in getting HKS.

- I guess you mean, from the coverter back? Because from the converter forward is part of your vehicles emission system. Must exhaust pipes are bolted to the catylitic converter.The muffler and tail pipes are welded as one piece at the factory. Some aftermarket kits (after you remove the old exhaust pipe,muffler and tail pipe) can be bolted on. I don't think any high performance system is available for that car but you can check a Walker Exhaust site. They supply many automakers with exhaust systems for new cars.
