Q: I have a 2007 350Z with new Berk HFC‘s so I wanted to drop in an exhaust. I wanted to know which exhaust is the best. I have heard alot of good things for Bissani but bad things about Borla and Greddy doesn‘t have much performance so please help. Also, the exhaust I want has to be true-dual
You want to use motorcycle rated 10W-30 oil for the motor because you have wet clutches and need the proper lubricant. As for the brake fluid you have to use DOT 5 silicon fluid in that system. It is rated for super high temps and does not draw moisture while it is sitting in storage for the winter etc. Hope I have been helpful.
Q: i have a 400ex and i just wanted something to pep it up a little and make it sound better/louder
Any leak in copper tubing arises from faulty installation, and it is almost always a bad solder joint. Repairing these can be a *****, because you have to get all of the water out of the pipe before you can do it.
Q: I‘ve been trying to buy a car and i stumbled upon this one. Its a really nice car. im just curious on what type of exhaust it might have. Here are some pictures, even though they might not be the best!
Hello, I can see its a single exhaust, it has an expensive stainless resonator, and its hung proportionately, and parallel to the ground. This is indicative of other exhaust work, not just a tip attached to the end of the factory pipe. It looks to be 2 3/4 in diameter, but that doesn't mean that its the same all the way. Its likely stainless all through if its entirely aftermarket, which it seems to be by the way the resonator is attached nicely. Also, its worth noting that a regular stock pipe wouldn't hold the weight of that resonator, it would crack off in a week if it was just dangling there. Something has been done. Exactly what cannot be determined though from these pics.
Q: Want to car (such as horse 6) tail exhaust pipe thick, like to listen to roar, the price to how much
Material: 304 stainless steel in the tail of the sound of the roar of the lowest requirements of the lowest 2.0 Price: 3200-8900 yuan local package installation field is not 包邮 Address: Jining City, the construction of the North Road, a good hero muffler
Q: I Have A 97 GMC Sierra Regular Cab With 5.7 Vortec Motor But For The Exhaust I Want Something Loud But Dont Know Whats Actually The Best System
If you want loud try a cat back with no mufflers. Best would be a long tube set of headers, an X style crossover feeding a pair of flowmaster mufflers. Dual 3 inch should be right for a modified 5.7, but 2 1/2 would be ok for a stock 5.7, not much difference between the 2 under 5000 rpm Big open glasspacks are low restriction, and sound nice. There are glasspacks 4 feet long. With a muffler, the bigger, the better. Side exit exhaust is louder inside the cab than rear exit tailpipes, especially driving by buildings. Louder yet is side exit in front of the rear wheels. Any muffler shop can give you many options. You have lots of room under your truck, you have lots of options.
Q: I own a 2008 Dodge Avenger SXT. I absolutely love my vehicle but I would like to make some changes to it. I‘m not very familiar with how a new exhaust system works or how much it will cost me, for that matter. Basically, I would like my car to be louder and sound meaner if it‘s possible. I have been told to get a new exhaust system, perhaps a dual? I have also been told about Cherry Bombs, but I‘m not sure i even know what they are. I would love to make my car louder but I‘ve been read these changes can cause a lose of torque/power. Is this true? If I can do this, what is an estimate it will cost? Help.
any garden center or nursery should have that stuff. probably lowes and home depot too.
Q: what should I get to have a really deep throaty sound similar to a v8 (yes I know there is no way to make it sound just like one). Should I get borla‘s, flowmaster‘s, glasspack‘ssomething else? Also, I can not in any way have it high pitched, annoying, or raspy like those souped up Honda‘syou know what I mean right?
Flowmaster should give you the sound you are looking for and it will be less expensive than Borla. You could also have an exhaust shop fab up a Y-pipe for you and then you might be able to bolt on a GT exhaust if you want the dual-exhaust look.
Q: I am buyin it from a friend who recently bought an aftermarket exhaust system for his car.
Well I can think of some differences. I can only base my answer on the elderly care homes around my area. In them I haven't seen the following: 20' fencing with razor wire guards with guns, clubs, handcuffs, tazers or spray pat downs restricted movement during certain times of the day segregation according to gang activity lock downs and shake downs Now if you speak with some poor elderly they might dispute the body cavity searches but the difference here is in a elderly that is impacted there will be a phyician order. I must live in a charmed area because I've never wittnessed the nightmares that some probably have seen in elderly homes.
Q: whats the best exhaust/muffler system around?
In my opinion Walker makes the best replacement systems as far as cost, performance and fit. I used their products for over twenty years. Most of the muffler shops out there use cheap pipe and bend it to fit. It's cheaper for you to do it that way but it won't last long.
Q: Does anyone know where to get a 2 bolt and a 3 bolt steel gasket for the exhaust system?
The dealer for your car --- see the parts dept. Local Autozone, NAPA, Oreilly's or other big box parts stores have them or can order them This part usualy isnt expensive so even if you went to the dealer it shouldnt be more than a few $$$$ If its a custom part then do this. Make a template of what you need from the exhaust system. go to the parts store when there not to busy -- have the clerk compare it to all the gaskets he has in stock. One will surely match
