Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q:Does Dyson really make the best vacuum cleaners?
Ours has been good so far. Our Oreck didn't last a year. With a Dyson, though, you do have to empty it out. It works pretty well. Other cleaners develop a lot more suction and power, but they pretty quickly (within minutes) lose it down to the Dyson's level as the filters clog.
Q:Is there any vacuum cleaner that can compare to the Dyson Animal that has a smaller price tag?
Nothing really compares to Dyson vacuum cleaners. They are high priced because they are the best - their especially helpful to those who have asthma as they pick up virtually everything (dust mites etc). They pick up so much from deep in the carpet - I've yet to see another one like that. You could try the cheaper end of the Dyson family. I own one myself and wish I would have got one years ago. Even the lower end of the scale is better than the other brand of vacuums. Like pookyluc said, try OKorder or other online places if you can if it works out cheaper.
Q:How do you get pet hair out of Carpet?
There is a sponge that you can buy at almost any pet store...u rub it on the carpet or couch and the hair sticks to the sponge (using static) then u just grab the hair on the sponge throw in the garbage and use again
Q:Does you know why my vacuum cleaners smells terrible every time I run it?
If it takes a bag, it could be that it needs to be emptied out, if it has a canister that collects all the stuff it picks up then you probably need to replace the filter. If it's a burnt rubber smell, then it's your belt for sure. * If you can not replace the entire filter then have your dad blow it out with a compressor.*
Q:Why do vacuum cleaners never last long?
It depends on the brand, age, and maintenance you provide your vaccum with. They need to be regular serviced. You can do this yourself. Of course, never vac foreign objects, look around on floor each time before hand and pick these items up. Don't run your vac for too long of periods of time. This will cause the motor to overheat and sometimes will kill the vac. Keep the beater bar clean regularly by unplugging tthe vac first, flip it over, remove the screws on the bottom and pull the cover off. Pull the beater bar (rotating bar) out and use a razor or sharp knife to slice down the center of the bar and then pull out all hair and fibers. While it is apart, check the extra compartment (most new vacs have) that traps foreign objects to keep it away from the motor. Clean it out if needed. Replace the belt if needed, change the bag, and put it all back together. This is servicing your vaccum. Do this regularly, like every two or three bag changes and your vac should last longer. Try checking more stores to find your bags and if you still have no success then try online. Maybe for your next vac purchase, you may want to look into purchasing a bagless canister vac with filter. They are affordable and easier and in my opinion more efficient and sanitary. Good luck!
Q:what gas law is applicable to vacuum cleaners?
Boyle's law * for a fixed amount of gas kept at a fixed temperature, pressure and volume are inversely proportional (while one increases, the other decreases). PV = k P = pressure V = volume k = constant value representative of the pressure and volume of the system.
Q:Do you know a VACUUM that sucks?
I own a Kirby. My mother owned a Kirby. I have a neighbor who owned a Kirby for twenty years. She just bought a new one. She didn't retire the old one which still works, but put it in the garage to vacuum the car. (with attachments, of course, not as an upright.) We live in high dust country, the arid southwest. A Kirby is high end on the purchase, but it can vacuum up what the wind brings in for years without problems. Even if it ever has problems, a small engine repair shop can probably refurbish it for you. Just be sure to order lots of bags, and change the bags out regularly.
Q:Have the amount of murders by strangulation using a vacuum cleaner power cable decreased since the invention of cordless cleaners?
it stops this demented behaviour
Q:Please recommend a vacuum cleaner for a 750 sqft house with small carpet?
All I can say is.... watch out. The world is FULL of BAD vacuum cleaners right now. They look OK, but they got no suck. And they're also incredibly expensive. The way I went was to put the word out I wanted an old Kirby or Hoover - something from the 50's or 60's. These machines are just as good as they were when new if you put on a new brush bar. But you can sometimes get them for nothing. I bought a couple vacuum cleaners for my business - and I could NOT believe how worthless they were! Holy Cow - and I have a feeling that this whole industry is filled with bad products.
Q:What do I do with my old phones and vacuum cleaner?
Call your town department of public works. Depending on where you live they may recycle items like this. My town is supposed to be setting up a program like this. For now we just toss them in the trash.
